METHOD FOR ALIGNING CALIBRATION DEVICE WITH VEHICLE BASED ON WHEEL ALIGNER AND CALIBRATION SYSTEM
A method for aligning a calibration device with a vehicle based on a wheel aligner and a calibration system are provided. The wheel aligner includes an image sensor and a computer. The computer controls at least one image sensor to image a vehicle-mounted target on a vehicle, and processes the obtained image to determine a position of the vehicle. The computer controls the at least one image sensor to image a reference target on a calibration device, and processes the obtained image to determine a position of the calibration device. The computer determines an adjusting mode of the calibration device according to the position of the vehicle and the position of the calibration device, so that the calibration device is aligned with the vehicle according to an anticipated position or direction. The method can guide an operator to accurately align the calibration device with the vehicle.
TARGET UNIT OF MACHINE VISION SYSTEM, TARGET ASSEMBLY AND MACHINE VISION SYSTEM
The present invention belongs to the field of machine vision system technologies, and discloses a target unit of a machine vision system, a target assembly and a machine vision system, the target unit including a protective plate, a light absorbing layer and a light reflecting layer. The protective plate includes a connection surface. The light reflecting layer is connected to the light absorbing layer, one of the light absorbing layer and the light reflecting layer includes a preset pattern and is connected to the protective plate through the connection surface, and a surface that is of the other of the light absorbing layer and the light reflecting layer and that faces away from the protective plate is an outer surface of the target unit. In the target unit in the embodiments of the present invention, the protective plate can provide functions such as mechanical support, flatness and water resistance and scratch resistance, and a substrate in the prior art can be omitted, so that the weight of the target unit in this embodiment is reduced, and the thickness of a product is reduced, enabling that it is possible to make a thinner product. In addition, a product assembly process is simplified, and product costs are reduced.
Camera calibration tool
A camera calibration tool for calibrating one or more cameras of a mobile machine comprising calibration targets and a net. Each of the calibration targets comprises identifiable indicia. The net is adapted to be coupled to the mobile machine. The net has one or more configurations that define predetermined target locations, with location markers, in a predetermined layout. The calibration targets are positioned respectively at the predetermined target locations in the predetermined layout to calibrate the one or more cameras by use of the calibration targets.
MOBILE VEHICULAR ALIGNMENT FOR SENSOR CALIBRATION
A mobile system and method of calibrating an ADAS sensor of a vehicle by aligning a target with the sensor, where a transport vehicle is equipped with a target adjustment stand for transporting to the vehicle, which is initially nominally positioned in front of the target adjustment stand that includes a movable target mount configured to support a target, with the target adjustment stand including one or more actuators for adjusting the position of the target mount. A computer system is used to determine an orientation of the vehicle relative to the target adjustment stand, with the position of the target mount being adjusted based on the determined orientation of the vehicle relative to the target adjustment stand. Upon properly orienting the target mount, and the target supported thereon, a calibration routine is performed whereby the sensor is calibrated using the target.
Wheel alignment guide for medical equipment and method of use
A wheel alignment guide that provides a visual indication of the desired placement of an apparatus. The wheel alignment guide includes one or more body members defining an opening to surround a portion of the apparatus, such as a wheel. The wheel of the apparatus is disposed within the opening of the wheel alignment guide after a desired position of the apparatus is selected, and the wheel may be pivoted via concave edges of the one or more body members. If the apparatus is moved during operation, the apparatus may be repositioned due to the placement of the wheel alignment guide. Accordingly, the wheel alignment guide eliminates the need for inefficient markers and potentially-dangerous adhesives, particularly in an operating room.
WHEEL ALIGNER WITH IMPROVED ACCURACY AND NO-STOP POSITIONING, USING A DRIVE DIRECTION CALCULATION
Vehicle alignment systems and methods are disclosed which operate based on a calculation of drive direction, or the direction in which a vehicle is moving. Since a vehicle can be assumed to be a rigid body, each wheel has the same drive direction. Consequently, an alignment parameter of one wheel can be compared to the same parameter of another wheel by equating their drive direction, eliminating the need for the aligner to see both sides of the vehicle at the same time. Embodiments include a system having one or more cameras on a fixture carrying a calibration element for an ADAS system, and one or more targets placed on the vehicle to measure the drive direction of the vehicle. The drive direction is assumed to be parallel to the vehicle thrust line and can be used as the line for orientation of the fixture to the vehicle.
VEHICULAR ALIGNMENT FOR SENSOR CALIBRATION
A system and method of calibrating an ADAS sensor of a vehicle by aligning a target with the sensor, where the vehicle is initially nominally positioned in front of a target adjustment stand that includes a stationary base frame and a movable target mount configured to support a target, with the target adjustment stand including one or more actuators for adjusting the position of the target mount.
The wheel alignment guide includes a body having an opening disposed therein. The wheel alignment guide is configured to surround a portion of the apparatus, such as a wheel, via the opening. In addition, the wheel alignment guide is adapted to rest on a ground surface, being held in place via a charge, such as an electrostatic charge created by static cling vinyl. A wheel of a medical device is disposed within the opening of the wheel alignment guide after a desired position of the medical device is selected. If the medical device is moved during a medical procedure, the medical device may be repositioned due to the placement of the wheel alignment guide. Accordingly, the wheel alignment guide eliminates the need for inefficient markers and potentially-dangerous adhesives, particularly in an operating room.
