MEASURING TOOL ATTACHMENT COVER
There is provided a measuring tool attachment cover that combines ease of holding and performance (for example, heat insulation). An attachment cover includes a front face layer 110, a rear face layer 120 and an intermediate layer 130. The front face layer 110 and the rear face layer 120 are compact layers with low porosity, and the intermediate layer 130 is a hollow structural layer with higher porosity than the front face layer 110 and the rear face layer 120. The hollow structural layer includes two or more layers with different porosity, and a layer of the two or more layers closer to the front face has higher porosity than a layer closer to the rear face. A direction from the rear face layer 120 to the front face layer 110 is a thickness direction, and a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction is a width direction. The hollow structural layer has elastic modulus distribution in the width direction, and an elastic modulus of a certain area is different from an elastic modulus of an area surrounding the certain area.
Automatic measuring device
There is provided an automatic measurement device that automates a contact type measuring instrument, which is inexpensive and good usability. An automatic measurement device includes a measuring instrument support base portion that supports a measuring instrument and a workpiece holding base portion that holds a workpiece in a measurement region of the measuring instrument. The measuring instrument support base portion includes a measuring instrument holder that holds a fixed element of the measuring instrument and an automatic operation unit attachable to and detachable from the measuring instrument. The automatic operation unit is configured to automate advance and retreat of the movable element of the measuring instrument by a power from a motor.

Caliper and accessories therefor
A tool for measurement of a body is proposed. It includes a caliper furnished with a slider, a fixed finger, a moving finger, and accessories including a first clamp mounted on the fixed finger, a first measuring standard associated with the fixed finger, a fixed leg having a first measuring face and a head securing the first measuring standard, a second clamp mounted on the moving finger, a second measuring standard associated with the moving finger, a moving leg having a second measuring face and a head securing the second measuring standard therein. The first measuring face is disposed to contact a first point of the body and, moving the slider, the second measuring face is disposed to contact a second point of the body, providing for measuring a length between the points, generally being greater than the caliper's length. The tool may additionally have intermediate measuring standards.

MEASURING INSTRUMENT
A measuring instrument includes a measuring unit, an electric component unit and a pin jack. The electric component unit includes a signal processing part. The signal processing part is configured to calculate a measurement data based on a detection signal obtained by the measuring unit. The pin jack is provided in the electric component unit.
CALIPER MEASUREMENT FORCE DETECTING DEVICE
A caliper measurement force detecting device includes a fixed unit that is securely attached to a slider so as not to displace relative to the slider; a movable unit that is provided to allow a slight displacement relative to the fixed unit along a direction parallel to a displacement direction of the slider; and pressure detectors that are arranged between the fixed unit and the movable unit and are provided so as to detect pressure applied in the direction parallel to the displacement direction of the slider. The movable unit includes an alternative finger hook that is arranged near a finger hook of the slider and serves as an operator that pushes and pulls the slider instead of the finger hook of the slider.

Digital micrometer
A digital micrometer includes a main-body frame, a spindle, a thimble part, and a displacement detector that detects displacement of the spindle. The main-body frame includes a U-shaped frame part, and a spindle holding part provided on the other end side of the U-shaped frame part and having a length in a direction away from an anvil. The spindle is held by a spindle holding part, provided to be movable forward and backward in an axial direction with respect to the anvil, and includes a contactor on one end face. The main-body frame and the spindle are formed of a non-magnetic material.
