Apparatus are provided for a sensor platform. The sensor platform includes a sensor mount adapted to receive a sensing device, and a first articulation system that has a first rotational axis. The sensor platform includes a second articulation system that has a second rotational axis, and the second rotational axis is different than the first rotational axis. The sensor platform includes a base that supports the first articulation system, the second articulation system and the sensor mount. The first articulation system and the second articulation system are independently movable to define two degrees of freedom for positioning the sensor platform.

Fabric-based items with electrical component arrays

A fabric-based item may include fabric layers and other layers of material. An array of electrical components may be mounted in the fabric-based item. The electrical components may be mounted to a support structure such as a flexible printed circuit. The flexible printed circuit may have a mesh shape formed from an array of openings. Serpentine flexible printed circuit segments may extend between the openings. The electrical components may be light-emitting diodes or other electrical devices. Polymer with light-scattering particles or other materials may cover the electrical components. The flexible printed circuit may be laminated between fabric layers or other layers of material in the fabric-based item.

A second sensor assembly of the plurality of sensor assemblies includes a second elongate arm and a second sensor carried by the second arm. The first spacer contacts the second arm and maintains an expected circumferential spacing between the first arm and the second arm over the range of radial positions as the body is propelled through the pipeline.

The support device includes a base, a support rod, a plurality of contact rods, and a regulation structure. The support rod is disposed on the base. The plurality of contact rods are parallel to the support rod and arranged in an arc around the support rod, wherein side faces of the plurality of the contact rods provide a support surface for supporting the flexible plate structure. The regulation structure is connected to the support rod and the contact rod, wherein the regulation structure is configured to regulate a distance between the contact rod and the support rod to regulate a bending curvature of the support surface. The distance between the contact rod and the support rod is regulated by the regulation structure, and the bending curvature of the support surface is regulated, such that the bending curvature of the flexible plate structure is regulated. In the process of detecting the performance of the flexible plate structure, a support device may support the flexible plate structure under different bending curvatures, and thus a cost is reduced. In the detection process, it is not necessary to replace the support device, which improve the work efficiency.
