LOAD CELL FOR A SCALE
The present invention relates to a load cell for a scale having a monolithically configured measurement body that has a force reception section, a force introduction section, and a joint section arranged between the force reception section and the force introduction section, having at least one strain gauge arranged at the upper side on the joint section for detecting a stretching deformation of the measurement body, and having electronics that are arranged at the force reception side, that are at least partly arranged on a circuit board, and that have a memory in which calibration data of the load cell and/or a value for gravity are stored, wherein a hardware interface is provided via which the memory can be accessed and via which the calibration data stored in the memory and/or the value for gravity can be changed.
Weighing apparatus with secured communication means
A weighing apparatus 1 comprising a load cell 4, a processing unit 3 external of the load cell 4 and data means 7, 8, 9, 10 for operating the weighing apparatus wherein a portion of the data means 7, 9, 10 is distributed between the processing unit 3 and the load cell 4 with secured communication means 6 operative between the load cell 4 and the processing unit 3. Preferably the data means 7, 9, 10 distributed between the processing unit 3 and the load cell 4 is subject to legal control or legally relevant software.
On-board vehicle scales
The present invention provides methods and systems for determining the weight of a vehicle. Exemplary methods include the steps of: determining with one or more on-board sensors, a sensor output voltage; providing the sensor output voltage information to a processing unit to determine the weight of the vehicle; and displaying the weight of the vehicle on a visual display unit.
Systems and methods for scale calibration
Systems and methods for scale calibration. One example embodiment provides a system for calibrating a scale. The system may generally include an actuator for applying force to a platform of the medical scale, and an electronic processor communicatively coupled to the actuator. The electronic processor may be configured to control an actuator to apply, for a first interval, a first applied force having a first value greater than a target force value, and control the actuator to apply, for a second interval, a second applied force having a second value substantially equal to the target force value.
