A shutter operation state monitoring method performed in a thermal imaging camera includes, controlling a shutter of the thermal imaging camera to be closed, capturing a first thermal image, calculating a correction offset value for the first thermal image, controlling the shutter to be opened, capturing a second thermal image, applying the correction offset value to the second thermal image, measuring a sound with a microphone when controlling the shutter to be closed and/or when controlling the shutter to be opened, determining whether the measured sound matches an operation sound of the shutter, and outputting an alarm indicating malfunction of the shutter if the measured sound does not match the operation sound.

The method may comprise identifying the address corresponding to the single temperature sensor, sending the address to a multiplexer, and selecting the single temperature sensor using the identified address. The method may comprise testing the selected single temperature sensor calculating an average temperature detected by the plurality of temperatures sensors.

A method for online monitoring of temperature in current terminal blocks based on thermal imaging are provided, including: obtaining real-time temperature distribution information of current terminals of a terminal box; using an external communication substation to upload the obtained real-time temperature distribution information to the secondary intelligent operation-and-maintenance control platform; determining whether there is an abnormality in temperature of the current terminals, if there is an abnormality, issuing an alarm message about potential danger for an open circuit of a current secondary circuit. The method provided by the present invention has a self-verification function of measurement data and can suppress the influence of ambient temperature. Through aggregation analysis of the temperatures of different current terminals of the terminal box, historical data mining of the temperature of the same current terminal is carried out to identify the hidden dangers of the open circuit of the current secondary circuit.

A target and a method of calibration of an IR camera unit is disclosed. The target may include, a substantially flat metallic plate, such that a first surface of the metallic plate has a surface roughness of between N9 to N10; and a pattern made from a polymeric ink applied on the first surface. The method may include, receiving from an IR camera, included in the camera unit, an image of the target taken in the infrared spectrum; extracting parameters, related to the camera, form the image; and calibrating the camera based on the extracted first parameters.
