A monitoring device (1) for a system for generating medical compressed air includes a measured air line (3) removing compressed air from a compressed air supply line downstream of a compressed air conditioning unit. A sensor (2) generates a measured signal as a function of a property of the compressed air fed through the measured air line. A humidifier (8) humidifies the compressed air upstream of the sensor. An output unit (12) outputs information about the property of the compressed air to a user on the basis of the measured signal. A tap (4) removes compressed air and an actuator (5) changes a volume flow and/or mass flow of the compressed air, which volume flow and/or mass flow prevails in the measured air line. The actuator is inserted into the tap in a measuring mode and is removed from the tap in a compressed air removal mode.

Method of air quality notification

A method of air quality notification is disclosed. The method includes steps of providing a portable air quality monitoring device for monitoring air quality. The portable air quality monitoring device monitors the ambient air quality at a location in a monitoring period of time to generate a monitoring data, and has a GPS component to generate a position data of the location, both of them can be integrated as a notification data and delivered. A cloud data processing device is provided for receiving the notification data delivered from the portable air quality monitoring device, wherein the notification data is processed, calculated and converted to generate a push data, and the push data is delivered at a push period through a push notification service. A notification receiving device is provided for receiving the push data delivered from the cloud data processing device, so as to display the push data immediately.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY IMPENDING FAILURE DETECTION

A battery management system configured to detect impending failure of a lithium-ion battery cell includes a sensor array microchip. The microchip includes a plurality of silicon chemical-sensitive field effect transistors (CS-FETs) configured to detect multiple distinct gases vented by the lithium-ion battery cell. The battery management system also includes a cell monitoring unit (CMU) configured to receive from at least one of the CS-FETs data indicative of a detected amount of gas vented by the lithium-ion battery cell. The CMU is also configured to compare the data indicative of the detected amount of the vented gas to a predetermined threshold amount of the subject vented gas programmed into the CMU. The CMU is further configured to trigger a signal indicative of impending failure of the lithium-ion battery cell when the detected amount of the vented gas exceeds the predetermined threshold amount of the subject vented gas.

Additionally, the exhaust channel prohibits exhaust entering the input chamber from exiting the housing without passing through the treatment unit.
