11513108 · 2022-11-29 · ·

A system and method provides a more precise mole delivery amount of a process gas, for each pulse of a pulse gas delivery, by measuring a concentration of the process gas and controlling the amount of gas mixture delivered in a pulse of gas flow based on the received concentration of the process gas. The control of mole delivery amount for each pulse can be achieved by adjusting flow setpoint, pulse duration, or both.

A method is provided for operating a gas concentration monitoring system as well as a gas-measuring device, a central unit, a gas concentration monitoring system as well as computer program product. The safety of persons or the safety of a situation is determined with respect to at least one hazardous gas. The concentration of the gas is provided to a memory and analysis device. A measured value rating number is determined for a preset period of use. A number of instances, of the measured concentration values exceeding of a preset gas concentration limit value is input. A safety code is determined from at least one of: the measured concentration values, the measured value rating numbers and from the a total number of instances in which a gas concentration limit value was exceeded.

The invention relates to a system and micro monitor apparatus, a space-, time-, and cost-efficient device to concentrate, identify, and quantify organic compounds in gas environments. The invention further relates to a method centered on gas chromatography for identifying and quantifying organic compounds in gas environments, using air as the carrier gas, without the need for a compressed pre-bottled purified carrier gas.

ACTIVE BI-DIRECTIONAL OPEN PATH GAS DETECTION SYSTEM

An open path gas detection system includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is configured to generate illumination across an open path. The receiver is positioned to detect the illumination from the transmitter after the illumination has passed through the open path and detect a gas of interest based on the illumination. However, the laser can also be used for gas detection systems in other circumstances. The transmitter and receiver are configured to communicate wirelessly. A method of operating an open path gas detection system is also provided.

CHANGE DETECTION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ASSETS

A method for determining a change in an asset and/or a characterization of an asset is provided. In an embodiment, the method can include receiving first data characterizing a target site including one or more assets. The method can also include generating a three-dimensional model of the target site based on the first data. The method can further include registering the first data with the three-dimensional model. The method can also include generating at least one three-dimensional projection onto at least one asset of the one or more assets included in the first data. The method can further include determining second data characterizing the at least one asset based on the at least on three-dimensional projection and providing the second data. In some embodiments, the method can be performed by systems or stored as instructions on computer readable mediums described herein.

FLARE SYSTEM HEATING VALUE MONITORING METER

Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for providing flare header information. Instantaneous flaring flowrate data is received from flaring sources of a flare network of a processing facility. The instantaneous flaring flowrate data is analyzed in conjunction with physical properties of relief sources obtained from a heat and material balance of the processing facility. A heating value and a molecular weight are determined for each relief source and flare header using a processing model associated with a relief source type, size, and identifications. The relief sources are connected using a data signal received and processed using the processing model. Reports are generated showing average daily heating values and molecular weights for each flare header. A real-time display is provided for monitoring instantaneous heating values and molecular weights for each flare header on a real-time basis.

Adaptive sensor temperature control for fast recovery

Provided is a gas sensor system with a gas sensor, and a microprocessor programmed to control the gas sensor with at least two operational modes. The first operational mode controls the gas sensor from a baseline level through analyte detection. Upon initiation of the recovery phase after analyte withdrawal, the gas sensor system switches to the second operational mode, which changes conditions of the gas sensor to (i) accelerate removal of the analyte from the gas sensor and (ii) accelerate recovery of the gas sensor output towards the baseline level. When no further analyte is detected, the gas sensor switches back to the first operational mode or to an additional operational mode to complete recovery.
