Test Probe Adapter
A radio frequency (RF) test probe adapter comprises a cable adapter operable for use with a RF test probe and a housing. The cable adapter comprises a cable connector configured to physically couple to a connector of a coaxial cable, a first pin operable to electrically couple a center conductor of the coaxial cable to a first lead of the RF test probe, and a second pin operable to electrically couple an outer conductor of the coaxial cable to a second lead of the test probe. The housing is sized and shaped to secure the RF test probe and the cable adapter in a physically coupled configuration
MEASUREMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MEASUREMENT APPARATUS
A measurement apparatus and a method for controlling a measurement apparatus is provided. The measurement apparatus comprises an ultrasonic sensor for receiving a further user input. The further user input may be used to identify a specific user. Accordingly, the measurement apparatus can be automatically configured based on data related to the identified user. Since the ultrasonic sensor may be operated even if the ultrasonic sensor is covered by a protecting element, the robustness of the measurement apparatus can be further improved.
Multi-domain measurement system as well as use of a multi-domain measurement system
A Multi-Domain Measurement System has an oscilloscope unit and a power probe unit. The oscilloscope unit comprises an analog input channel for receiving a measured analog signal and a first digital interface for receiving digitized measurement values from said power probe unit. The power probe unit is connected to the first digital interface for providing digitized measurements of a power supply signal. The power probe unit and the analog input channel are assigned to a device under test for simultaneously measuring signals in different domains. The power probe unit has a power probe measurement channel providing a vertical digitizing resolution that is at least two times higher than a vertical digitizing resolution of the analog input channel. Further, uses of a Multi-Domain Measurement System are provided.

Surface-mountable apparatus for coupling a test and measurement instrument to a device under test
An apparatus for coupling a test and measurement instrument to a device under test comprises a clip structured to be attached between two conductive portions of the device under test, and an insert structured to be removably installed in the clip. The insert is configured to provide a current path between the two conductive portions of the device under test. In embodiments, the insert comprises a resistive element, which may be a round rod resistor. Additional embodiments may be described and/or claimed herein.
Test or measurement instrument and method
The present invention relates to a test or measurement instrument, comprising a test unit, a memory, a display, a network interface and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to generate a machine-readable representation of data such as a QR code which comprises encoded address information of the data file stored in the memory. The processing unit is further configured to display the generated QR code on the display for enabling an external network device to download the stored data file via the network interface after having scanned the displayed QR code and decoded the address information encoded therein. The invention further relates to a method for enabling a network device to downloaded data stored in a test or measurement instrument.
Modular Probe for Automated Test Applications
A novel modular probe may include an interchangeable (connectable/disconnectable) probe-tip adaptor having a tip connector for coupling to a device under test, and further having a probe-tip terminal for coupling to a first assembly connector of a cable assembly, which further has a second assembly connector for coupling to a first build-out terminal of a build-out adaptor, which also has a second build-out terminal for coupling to an assembly connector of an interchangeable instrument connector cable assembly, which also has an instrument-end connector for coupling to a measurement instrument. The built-out adaptor may include a compensation adjustment circuit for compensating the probe for varying system capacitances. The probe may include one or more corrective circuits in the interchangeable probe-tip adaptor and/or in the build-out adaptor for at least partially terminating each end of the cable assembly with a characteristic impedance of the cable in the cable assembly to attenuate reflections.

MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECORDING CONTEXT INFORMATION OF A MEASUREMENT
The present invention relates to an improved recording of context information for a measurement. For this purpose, it is suggested to receive context information from a user and to generate a dataset comprising the received context information. The context information may comprise one or more voice annotation. By using voice annotations for specifying context information of a measurement, a very simple and easy format for acquiring the context information from a user is achieved.
Variable resolution oscilloscope
A method and apparatus for providing variable analog to digital converter (ADC) resolution is described.
