The present disclosure relates to wireless electrical discontinuity detection methods and systems, the systems including at least one conduit having an outer layer including an electrically conductive material, an electrical signal generator electrically coupled to the at least one conduit, the electrical signal generator being configured to deliver electrical signals to the outer layer of the at least one conduit, and a detector device in electrical communication with the electrical signal generator and configured to detect an electrical signal from the electrically conductive outer layer, the detector device being configured to identify at least one of electrical connection and ground discontinuity in the at least one conduit based on the detected electrical signal, wherein the detector device is in wireless communication with a control station.

Provided is a load drive device capable of diagnosing a failure of an output terminal of the load drive device before a charging voltage stabilizes in a configuration in which a capacitor is connected to an output terminal of the load drive device that drives an inductive load. In the load drive device according to the present invention, a capacitor is connected between a load terminal and a ground terminal, and the presence or absence of a failure of the load terminal is diagnosed on the basis of a current flowing between an internal power supply included in a diagnosis circuit and the load terminal.

A first detection signal creation unit has detection nodes connected to detection electrodes in one-to-one correspondence. Software-configurable battery monitoring and management systems and methods provide flexibility in selecting the location where the highest voltage in a block of cells is sensed so as to support control boards to connect to any number of cells. In certain embodiments, battery management is accomplished by measuring cell voltages in a block of cells in a battery stack, determining whether the battery stack comprises a bus bar, determining a sum of the individual cell voltages, and comparing the voltage at the top of a battery stack, including any bus bar, to the sum of the individual cell voltages to obtain a comparison result that may be used to perform a diagnostic procedure.

A power source combination circuit has a combination circuit and a controller. The combination circuit includes a first power source, a first field-effect transistor, a second power source, and a second field-effect transistor. The controller is configured to control the combination circuit to supply power to a load circuit, obtain a first input voltage, a second input voltage, and a third input voltage, and diagnose, based on the obtained voltages, whether the combination circuit is in a normal state or an abnormal state. The first input voltage is an input side voltage of the first field-effect transistor, the second input voltage is an input side voltage of the second field-effect transistor, and the third input voltage is a voltage at a power source input end of the load circuit.
