Enhanced weather radar mapping
This disclosure is directed to techniques, methods, devices, and systems for generating a two-dimensional weather map based on three-dimensional volumetric weather data that incorporates enhanced weather analysis techniques applied to weather radar data. An example method includes generating, by a computing system comprising one or more processors, a two-dimensional weather map based at least in part on three-dimensional volumetric weather data for a volume of airspace, wherein the two-dimensional weather map indicates levels of convection and levels of risk of other hazardous weather applicable to the volume of airspace. The method further includes outputting, by the computing system, the two-dimensional weather map for transmission to a receiving system.
Panoramic weather radar display system for aircraft
A weather radar system for an aircraft includes a weather radar system and a processing circuit. The weather radar system is configured to determine weather data, the weather data including an indication of precipitation at a plurality of altitudes, a plurality of azimuth angles, and at a plurality of ranges from the aircraft. The processing circuit is configured to receive the weather data from the weather radar system and generate an overhead display from an overhead perspective based on the weather data. The overhead display visually illustrates the precipitation at a particular distance from the aircraft and at a particular azimuth angle. The processing circuit is configured to generate a face-on on display based on the weather data and cause a display screen to display the overhead display and the face-on display. The face-on display visually illustrates a particular altitude of the precipitation and the azimuth angle of the precipitation.
Display device and detection method thereof
A display device includes a display panel, a driving circuit board, and an electronic connector. The electronic connector connects the display panel and the driving circuit board. The driving circuit board is configured with a first wire, a second wire, a third wire, a fourth wire and a fifth wire arranged in order. The first wire, the second wire, the third wire and the fifth wire extend to the electronic connector and connect to the display panel. A first convergence point of the second wire and the third wire is located on the electronic connector, and a second convergence point of the fourth wire and the third wire is located on the driving circuit board. A detection method of the display device is also disclosed.
System and method for monitoring vessel traffic information
The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for monitoring vessel traffic information. The system for monitoring vessel traffic information includes: an interlock device configure to adjust identification information of a wireless terminal included in a received message to correspond to an identification system of auto identification system (AIS) message and convert the received message into a AIS message type, when receiving a message including ship information from a wireless terminal of a ship located in at least one ship network; a merging device configure to merge the ship information included in the converted AIS message with radar image information; and a monitoring device configure to display merged monitoring information on a monitoring screen.
COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD AND DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE
A non-transitory computer readable recording medium stores therein a program that causes a computer to execute a process including: executing a process of acquiring a position of a terminal; determining whether there is object data registered in a position in an area corresponding to the acquired position by referring to a storage that stores positions in which multiple sets of object data are registered in association with the sets of object data, respectively; and displaying object data on a display when there is the object data registered in a position in the area, and curbing any one of frequency of executing the process of acquiring the position of the terminal and accuracy of the acquiring when there is no object data registered in a position in the area.
Data processing apparatus, radar apparatus, and data processing method
A data processing apparatus that can set the magnification factor according to the distance from the antenna is provided so that the display of objects close to the antenna is easier to see and with which the changes in the settings of the magnification factor is easy. The buffer memory stores the digital signals converted by the A/D converter in association with the distance and azimuth with respect to the antenna. The digital filter filters the digital signals read from the buffer memory. A digital filter is provided that converts a value of data of interest, of digital data stored in the memory, to a value based on values of the data of interest to be processed and peripheral data in a periphery of the data of interest, and the digital filter changes a range of the peripheral data used for a filter processing according to the distance from the antenna to the data of interest.
Systems and methods for imaging a concealed surface
Radar systems and methods for imaging surfaces. A processor receives raw data from the radar and executes an image data generation. A display unit displays an image representing the targeted surface. The radar unit may be incorporated in a handheld scanner. Rectangular antenna arrays may be configured and processors may be operable such that the image data generated may be processed and displayed in real time.
