Refrigerator with light guide member
A refrigerator including a storage chamber. The refrigerator also includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall arranged to form at least a portion of both side surfaces of the storage chamber. The refrigerator further includes a light source arranged on the first sidewall to illuminate an inside of the storage chamber. The refrigerator also includes a light guide member provided inside the storage chamber and formed to extend between the first sidewall and the second sidewall to guide light emitted from the light source. The light guide member includes an incident surface arranged to face the first sidewall and an exit surface through which the light guided by the light guide member is emitted to an outside of the light guide member.
Homogenous lit line image vehicle lamp assembly
A lamp assembly for a vehicle includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted in or on the vehicle and arranged in a linear pattern. An elongated optical member is disposed longitudinally along the linear pattern of LEDs. The elongated optical member is configured to receive light emitted from the LEDs and project a corresponding plurality of lit images. A vehicle lamp assembly includes a plurality of LEDs mounted to a printed-circuit board to form a linear array. A primary light pipe is disposed adjacent to the linear array of LEDs and aligned longitudinally along the linear array of LEDs, such that light emitted from each of the LEDs of the linear array traverses radially through the primary light pipe.
SLICKER BRUSH HAVING HALO-ILLUMINATED LIGHT
The present invention offers a halo-illuminating light pattern for clearly showing areas of a pet's fur to the user performing brushing. Such a halo-illuminating light pattern provides a full, 360-degree light pattern of the pet's fur. This eliminates the necessity for using an additional light source, for example a flashlight or being made to settle on a light source that only highlights one side of a pet's fur, leaving another side in shadow.
Display assembly having a feature illuminating system
A display assembly includes a front panel including a feature. A light source is behind the front panel. A light guide header is coupled to the light source. One or more fiber optic strands are coupled to the light guide header and routed proximate to one or more portions of the feature. The light guide header is configured to receive a portion of light emitted by the light source and guide the portion of the light into the one or more fiber optic strands to illuminate the one or more portions of the feature.
ILLUMINATED GRAPHIC IN AN AUTOMOTIVE PLASTIC GLAZING
A plastic glazing of a window of a vehicle having a light feature includes a first vehicle window glazing component, a second vehicle window glazing component molded onto the first vehicle window glazing component, and a light unit configured to produce light for the light feature. The light unit being integrated with at least one of the following: the first vehicle window glazing component and the second vehicle window glazing component. The light unit further configured to direct the light for the light feature through or from at least one of the following: the first vehicle window glazing component and the second vehicle window glazing component. The plastic glazing is a one-piece molded plastic construction. At least one of the first vehicle window glazing component and the second vehicle window glazing component is translucent or transparent
OPTICAL ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE LAMP
An optical assembly and a vehicle lamp are described. The optical assembly has a main exit direction, and includes a light source, a first light guide element and a second light guide element which are arranged in a superposed fashion in the main exit direction. The light source is allocated to the first light guide element, and the first light guide element has a first light in-coupling region and a first light out-coupling surface, the second light guide element has a second light in-coupling surface and a second light out-coupling surface, with the first light out-coupling surface facing the second light in-coupling surface. A light distribution structure is provided on at least a partial segment of at least one of the first light out-coupling surface and the second light in-coupling surface. The vehicle lamp includes the optical assembly described above.
Light assembly, method for reducing light loss, vehicle design element and rear view device
A system includes at least one light pipe, at least one light source disposed at least partially within an interior of the system, a lens substantially enclosing the interior, the at least one light pipe, and the at least one light source, the lens having a continuous transparent or translucent coating on the outer surface, with the at least one light source receiving electrical power from the electrical power source, the continuous transparent or translucent coating being at least partially permeable to at least some light which is emitted by the at least one light source and passed through the lens, and at least one mask located between the at least one light pipe and the lens, a plurality of small contact areas being provided on the outside or inside of the light pipe or on the mask.
Motor Vehicle
A motor vehicle includes a radiator grille and a lighting apparatus with a number of light sources. During operation, the lighting apparatus emits light, which originates from the number of light sources, from the radiator grille into the surrounds of the motor vehicle. The lighting apparatus includes a number of flexible fiber bundles. Each fiber contains one or more fibers and has a homogeneous outer surface for generating homogeneous light radiation in a circumferential direction of the fiber bundle. Further, each fiber bundle is arranged at least in sections on the radiator grille and coupled to at least one light source at at least one light one fiber bundle end, the light source feeding into the at least one fiber bundle end during operation.
COMPUTER HOUSING
A desktop computing system having at least a central core surrounded by housing having a shape that defines a volume in which the central core resides is described. The housing includes a first opening and a second opening axially displaced from the first opening. The first opening having a size and shape in accordance with an amount of airflow used as a heat transfer medium for cooling internal components, the second opening defined by a lip that engages a portion of the airflow in such a way that at least some of the heat transferred to the air flow from the internal components is passed to the housing.
ILLUMINATION SYSTEM COMPRISING A LIGHT GUIDE HAVING A DIFFUSER ELEMENT
An illumination system for a medical technology therapy and/or diagnosis system is provided. The system includes a light source, preferably a laser light source, and a light guide, which at a proximal end can be connected to the at least one light source and/or can be assigned thereto, and which system has at the distal end of the light guide a diffuser element having a longitudinal axis which extends into or in the diffuser element perpendicularly with respect to an input face of the light guide, wherein the diffuser element emits light laterally with respect to the longitudinal axis over its active length in the operating state, wherein the diffuser element has at least one diffuser base body and the diffuser base body contains a matrix that has at least one scattering element and is enclosed at least on its cladding surface by a solid encapsulation.
