A locking sled is slidable from a locked position to an unlocked position within the channel. The locking sled has a plurality of locking grooves that align with the plurality of openings. Fiber optic trays are mounted to the arm, and each fiber optic tray has at least one hinge inserted through an opening on the arm and a locking groove on the locking sled. The fiber optic trays are pivotable with respect to the arm when the hinges are in the unlocked portion, and the fiber optic trays are fixed with respect to the arm when the hinges are in the locked portion.

Heat management systems for enclosures for power and optical fiber networks

A thermal management system for a power and fiber splice enclosure that includes a housing including electrical components is provided. The thermal management system includes a solar shield disposed external to the housing and covering at least a major portion of the housing. The thermal management system includes a vent disposed in the housing for venting hot air from the enclosure. The thermal management system includes a condenser thermally coupled to a heat conducting component of the enclosure for cooling at least the heat conducting component.

Separator modules for terminal bodies

Signal distribution arrangements are assembled by selecting a terminal body and a tap module combination that provides the desired signal strength at the intended position in an optical network. Each terminal body includes an input connection interface, a pass-through connection interface, a module connection interface, and multiple drop connection interfaces. Each tap module houses an optical tap having an asymmetric split ratio. Most of the optical signal power received at the signal distribution arrangement passes to the pass-through connection interface. A portion of the optical signal power is routed to the drop connection interfaces (e.g., via a symmetrical optical power splitter). The tap module and terminal body combination are selected based on the desired number of drop connection interfaces and to balance the asymmetric split ratio with the symmetric split ratio.

OPTICAL FIBER MANAGEMENT TRAY ASSEMBLIES WITH IMPROVED FIBER ROUTING CONFIGURABILITY

Optical fiber management tray assemblies for optical fiber closures. The tray assemblies include features that enable different fiber routing schemes and configurations depending on specific fiber routing needs at a given fiber optic closure. A plurality of inner fiber management trays can pivotally mount to an outer fiber management tray.

Butt closures and organizer assemblies therefor

An organizer assembly includes a primary basket extending along a longitudinal axis between a first open end and a second closed end, the primary basket defining an interior. The organizer assembly further includes a bracket assembly extending along a transverse axis at the first open end of the basket, the bracket assembly including a plurality of hinge assemblies. The organizer assembly further includes a plurality of organizer trays, each of the plurality of organizer trays rotatably connectable to the bracket assembly at one of the plurality of hinge assemblies. Each of the plurality of organizer trays is rotatable between a first position wherein the organizer tray is aligned along the longitudinal axis and a second position wherein the organizer tray is aligned along the transverse axis.

INDICIA AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPONENTS

A telecommunications component includes an outer housing that includes a badge holder. The badge holder is configured to receive a badge. The badge is configured to be inserted into the badge holder. The badge includes a feature that is identifying of the source of the telecommunications component and the feature is at least one of a logo, a specific color, text information, a barcode, a QR code, and a RFID tag. The badge includes a pair of arms extending from opposing sides to engage with the badge holder of outer housing. The badge includes a securing feature that is configured to secure the badge within the badge holder.

A fiber enclosure with an integrated enclosure mounting system includes a base, a cover, and a clamp for securing the cover to the base. The base has an end wall with through openings extending therethrough and has a fiber management mounting frame provided on an inner side of the end wall. The mounting frame is configured to receive fiber management trays and the cover is engageable over the mounting frame and into abutment with the base and is securable to the base by the clamp to fully enclose the mounting frame and fiber management trays within a cavity formed between the cover and the base. The base also includes enclosure mounting sockets formed on an outer side surface thereof. The enclosure mounting sockets are releasably engageable with complementary shaped mounting post provided on a mounting arm to releasably secure the base to the mounting arm.

Optical fiber splicing tray

An optical fiber splicing tray is disclosed. The optical fiber splicing tray may include: an optical fiber splicing tray body; and a marker detachably connected to the optical fiber splicing tray body, where the marker is arranged at a position facilitating observation and identification of the marker when a plurality of optical fiber splicing trays are stacked.

OPTICAL FIBER MANAGEMENT TRAYS AND ASSEMBLIES WITH FEATURES FOR IMPROVED ROLLABLE FIBER RIBBON ROUTING

An optical fiber management tray, such as a splice tray, and related assemblies. The tray includes fiber guiding features for improved routing of reliable ribbon fiber on the tray. In some embodiments, a fiber management tray is configured to receive a routed fiber ribbon and a plurality of routed individual optical fibers, the tray being further configured to support a plurality of individual fiber splices that splice the fibers of the ribbon fiber to the individual fibers.

INDICIA AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPONENTS

Indicia elements are added to telecommunications components to identify the source of the telecommunications component. Indicia elements can include at least one of a logo, a specific color (e.g. a color different from a non-indicative base color of the telecommunications component), text information, a barcode, a QR code, and a RFID tag. The indicia elements can aid in identifying or tracing network connections, identifying types of connectors and/or cables, labeling the network connections, and identifying a network operator in a multi-network environment.
