IMAGE CAPTURING UNIT, CAMERA MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An image capturing unit includes an imaging element and a dual-shot injection-molded optical folding element that are adjacent to each other. The imaging element is configured for an imaging light to pass through. The dual-shot injection-molded optical folding element includes a first part and a second part. The first part is made of transparent material. The first part has a reflective surface configured to reflect the imaging light. The second part is made of opaque material, and the second part is fixed at periphery of the first part. The second part includes a supporting portion configured to support the dual-shot injection-molded optical folding element. The supporting portion maintains the dual-shot injection-molded optical folding element at a predetermined position corresponding to the imaging element through mechanism assembly.
DRIVING MECHANISM
A driving mechanism is provided, including a base, a movable module, and a driving assembly. The movable module has a movable member and a connecting member connected to the movable member. The driving assembly is connected to the base and the connecting member. The driving assembly has a driving element that generates a driving force to the connecting member and the movable member, so that the movable module moves relative to the base.
Rotating steering mirror and methods, assemblies, and systems thereof
A rotating steering mirror assembly comprising a first wedge rotatable relative to a base and a second wedge rotatable relative to the first wedge to controllably tilt a mirror on an outward- or forward-facing surface of the second wedge. Respective motors can independently rotate the first and second wedges.
Optical unit
An optical assembly includes an optical element including a reflection surface to reflect light in a first axis direction, a holder to hold the optical element, a case to support the holder, a first swing mechanism to swing the holder around a first swing axis, and a second swing mechanism to swing the holder around a second swing axis perpendicular to the first swing axis. The holder includes first and second protrusions. The case includes first and second recesses. Each of the recesses includes a first side surface located on one side in the axial direction of the second swing axis and a second side surface located on the other side with respect to the corresponding protrusion. At least one of the first and second side surfaces includes an inclined surface inclined with respect to the second swing axis.
3D modular optics for 3D optical alignments
An optical setup, comprising one or more platforms having a plurality of fixation locations repeatedly arranged, and defining a discrete position coordinate system; and a plurality of modular optical units, each comprising an optical portion defining an optical axis fixedly attached to at least one mounting surface comprising complementary geometry to the fixation locations; wherein a releasable attachment of the plurality of modular optical units at the fixation locations defines a plurality of optical axes at least a portion of the optical axes overlapping across the discrete position coordinate system In some embodiments, the modular optical units include standard optical elements In some embodiments, the platform includes an attachment interface to an optical table and/or another platform In some embodiments, laser pulses are synchronized by fixing a discrete path length over the fixation locations In some embodiments the fixation locations are located on multiple planes in 3D space.
Optical engine for head-mounted display apparatus
A display apparatus has a display to emit image-bearing light to a prism assembly that defines an optical path between an incident surface of the prism assembly and an output surface that is orthogonal to within +/−30 degrees relative to the incident surface, wherein the prism assembly has a curved reflective surface opposite the incident surface. The prism assembly encases a beam splitter at an oblique angle to the defined optical path and to both the incident and the output surface of the prism assembly. A shim, in contact against the display surface and against the incident surface of the prism assembly, defines a sealed air gap for light between the display surface and the incident surface. A frame houses the display, the shim, and the incident surface of the prism assembly, wherein the frame further provides connection features for coupling the apparatus to a head-worn article.
SPHERICALLY MOUNTED RETROREFLECTOR
A spherically mounted retroreflector comprising an optic inlay, the optic inlay comprising a retroreflector having a vertex and an axis of symmetry, and a carrier having an at least partly spherical outer surface and a cavity, wherein the optic inlay is arranged in the cavity, and wherein the at least partly spherical outer surface has a sphere center, which sphere center coincides with the vertex, wherein the optic inlay is connected to the carrier. The optic inlay comprises a coupling portion, and the spherically mounted retroreflector comprises a coupling element arranged between the optic inlay and the carrier.
