Light sensing module and electronic device using the same

A light sensing module and an electronic device using the same are provided. The light sensing module includes a substrate, a light sensing unit, a first light-transmissive component and a blocking wall. The light sensing unit is disposed on the substrate to sense an intensity of a working light beam. The first light-transmissive component covers the light sensing unit, and has a first refractive index that is between a refractive index of the light sensing unit and a refractive index of air. The blocking wall is disposed on the substrate, and surrounds the light sensing unit and the first light-transmissive component.

Downsized vehicle projection device having reflective surface and vehicle viewing device

A vehicle projection device including: a reflector that is provided in a vehicle and is provided with a reflective surface, with the reflective surface reflecting light; an image member that is provided with an image and through which the light reflected by the reflective surface is transmitted; and a lens through which the light that has been transmitted through the image member is transmitted, whereby the image is magnified and projected.

IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

An image processing apparatus includes a three-dimensional space information storage unit, a projection unit, an operation acquisition unit, a reference guide rail decision unit, and a motion vector calculation unit. The projection unit projects and draws a cross-sectional plane onto a projection plane on the basis of information on a position of the cross-sectional plane stored by the three-dimensional space information storage unit. The reference guide rail decision unit decides a reference guide rail on the basis of information on a position of a slide operation acquired by the operation acquisition unit. The motion vector calculation unit calculates a two-dimensional motion vector parallel to the reference guide rail on the basis of a direction of the slide operation and an amount of movement, calculates a three-dimensional motion vector corresponding to the two-dimensional motion vector, and changes the position of the cross-sectional plane in accordance with the calculated three-dimensional motion vector.

Image Projection Device

An image projection device is disclosed having a body defining an aperture that includes a slide frame receiving slot that is transverse to the aperture and a magnifying lens positioned in alignment with the aperture at the front of the body. The image projection device can be attached to a mobile device and uses the camera flash of the mobile device to provide the light source to illuminate a slide transparency. The mobile device can identify a particular slide transparency through information encoded on the slide frame in order to coordinate audio or video output with the projected slide.

Multi-aperture projection display and single image generator for the same

Generating images to be projected at different projection distances with a multi-aperture projection display, statically or without any conversion, neither mechanically nor at the imager, is enabled by designing the single images of the multi-aperture projection display in a suitable manner, namely by combining provisional single images for the projection channels of the multi-aperture projection display, which are intended for each of the at least two images to be projected, projection channel by projection channel, to the actual or final single images.

DYNAMIC LOGO PROJECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

A system for dynamically projecting a logo onto a surface includes a light source, moveable lenses, and an actuator. The light source emits light toward the surface. The lenses are positioned with between the light source and the surface, with each lens having multiple transparent portions configured to permit some of the emitted light to pass through the lens in a corresponding light pattern. Each corresponding light pattern forms a different part of the logo. The actuator moves the lenses with respect to the emitted light in response to a control signal to thereby cause projection of the logo onto the surface. A vehicle includes a body having a door, road wheels in contact with a road surface, and the system which projects the logo onto the road surface proximate the door. The controller may be programmed to execute a method for projecting the logo.

Laser with two levels of image adjustment
09810404 · 2017-11-07 ·

A laser lighting device configured to provide two levels of image adjustment. An end piece provides first range of motion along the longitudinal axis of the laser, and controls image size projected from the laser. The end piece also allows for a number of masks to be utilized with the laser so that the projected light may be projected in various images shapes. A cap piece is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the laser and may create various patterns in the light being projected, such as spots sparkles, and other patterns, or fill textures to the projected image of variable size.

PROJECTION DEVICE FOR PROJECTING IMAGES ON A SURFACE OF THE DEVICE

A projection device for projecting images on a surface of the device includes an outer housing having a front translucent screen, a projection module frame mounted on an inner surface of the outer housing, and a projection roller frame supported by the projection module frame. The projection roller frame includes first and second spaced apart rollers rotatable respectively on two opposite cylindrical ends integrally formed on a lampshade. A cylindrical projection film is held between the first and second rollers. A light source is mounted inside the lampshade so that an image formed on the projection film can be projected on the front translucent screen by the light source. The device further includes a gear mechanism for driving the rollers, a position-limiting mechanism, and a speaker.

Computer-Controlled Array of Image Projectors

Techniques and architectures involve operating an array of slide projectors having respective brightnesses controlled by a computer. Such an array of slide projectors may be arranged to project their respective images onto a surface so that the respective images substantially overlap with one another on the surface and produce an integrated image. By judicious selection of slides and by judicious control of the brightness of the respective slide projectors, such an integrated image may render a video or an appearance of motion or other dynamic effect.
