Overhead frame corners
11448953 · 2022-09-20 ·

Improved corners for overhead frames having primary and secondary fasteners that are located within the distal rectangular periphery of alpha oriented overhead frame components so that the width of bundled overhead frames is reduced; protrusions leading to snagging are eliminated; obstructions to the preferred, industry-wide, disassembled frame orientation are precluded; and frame components may be rigidly bundled into the alpha orientation without the wasteful and time-consuming use of temporary materials.

A lamp projecting a starry sky is provided. The lamp projecting the starry sky includes at least one beam generator, a reflecting member with uneven and irregular reflecting surface, a first motor, and at least one first lens. The first motor is connected to the reflecting member through a connecting shaft, the reflecting member is driven to rotate when the first motor rotates, a light beam generated by the beam generator irradiates onto a first side of the reflecting member along an incident light path, and a light beam emitted from the reflecting member forms a moving and layering nebula projection after passing through the at least one first lens. In the lamp, after passing from the reflecting member, the light beam is magnified by the lens, so that the generated starry sky will not be too bright and dazzling, which effectively enhances the layering sense of the starry sky.

TECHNIQUES TO AUTOMATICALLY VERIFY OBJECT DETECTION, CLASSIFICATION, AND DEPTH FOR AUTOMATED DRIVING SYSTEMS

An object detection and classification verification system for a vehicle includes a projection system configured to project a three-dimensional (3D) scene pre-captured at a known distance and comprising at least one known object onto a surface in front of the vehicle a controller configured to verify a performance of an object detection and classification routine by performing the object detection and classification routine on the projected 3D scene to generate a set of results, comparing the set of results to a set of expected results associated with the projected 3D scene, and based on the comparing, determining whether the performance of the object detection and classification routine satisfies a predetermined threshold metric.

CINEMA PROJECTION METHOD AND SYSTEM
20220103793 · 2022-03-31 ·

A cinema projection method and system are provided, to perform GDR transformation on an original DCP while keeping a luminance component value of pure black unchanged. A transformed DCP has a brighter display luminance than the original DCP, and a display luminance of pure black remains unchanged. By adjusting the PWM, the brightness of a screen display is reduced. To ensure that the transformed DCP has a consistent display luminance with the original DCP, a luminance adjustment consistency mapping model of a local cinema is used to transform a standard PWM level of each frame of the original DCP, to obtain a local PWM level of each frame of the local cinema.

Calibration step for use in connection with method and system for creating wide-screen picture-dominance effect in a conventional motion-picture theater
11159764 · 2021-10-26 ·

A calibration step is disclosed for use with a system and a method for creating a wide-screen picture-dominance effect in an auditorium located in a motion-picture theater. This is accomplished by an operator viewing a test image or images of horizontal and vertical lines projected onto a deeply-curved screen in said auditorium and adjusting the projection of said test image or images until the horizontal and vertical lines in said image or images appear straight and orthonormal, with the result that viewers watching motion pictures in said auditorium will observe images that appear wider than the physical confines of the auditorium in said theater.

VIDEO GENERATION DEVICE, VIDEO GENERATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

A video is superimposed on an object in order that the object will be perceived as if the object were given a motion. This video is a video including a luminance motion component corresponding to a motion given to the object.
