Reflective Holographic Display Apparatus and Display Method For The Same
A reflective holographic display apparatus and a display method thereof are disclosed. The reflective holographic display apparatus includes a front light source module, a display panel and a phase plate. The front light source module is configured to provide reference lights; the display panel is configured to adjust amplitude information of the reference lights, wherein the display panel includes a reflective layer and the front light source module is located at a light exit side of the display panel; and the phase plate is configured to adjust phase information of the reference lights and located at a light exit side of the reflective layer.
HOLOGRAM DISPLAY APPARATUS AND HOLOGRAM DISPLAY METHOD
A hologram display apparatus and a hologram display method are provided. The hologram display apparatus includes a controller and a display device. The controller is configured to obtain plural grayscale values G.sub.i of an image of a to-be-displayed object, generate plural display sub-image codes Q.sub.j according to the plurality of grayscale values G.sub.i and transmit the plurality of display sub-image codes Q.sub.j to the display device, where i=1, 2, . . . , m, j=1, 2, . . . N, each of m and N is a positive integer. The display device is configured to generate and display plural sub-holograms according to the plurality of display sub-image codes, a quantity of the plurality of sub-holograms being equal to that of the plurality of display sub-image codes, such that the plurality of sub-holograms are superimposed to generate a hologram of the image of the to-be-displayed object in human eyes.
Illumination system and method
An illumination system is arranged to output a light beam for illuminating a scene. The system comprises a spatial light modulator arranged to receive incident light, and to output light comprising a first component and a second component. The first component comprises incident light that is output without modulation by the spatial light modulator. The second component comprises incident light that is spatially-modulated according to a hologram and output by the spatial light modulator. A control device is operable to control the proportion of light output by the spatial light modulator that corresponds to the second component.
