Hand washing timer
A hands-free visual timer enables a person to wash his or hands for the duration of time recommended by the Center for Disease Control. Upon activation, the timer displays an annular ring of thirty triangles and a first icon. After five seconds have passed, a second icon is displayed indicating the user should apply soap. After twenty-five seconds, a third icon is displayed indicating the user should rinse. After thirty seconds, the screen goes blank and all the triangles have disappeared. The central display of triangles is illuminated by a liquid crystal display. The icons are illuminated by light emitting diodes.
METHOD OF CONFIGURING TIMER AND TIMER USING THE METHOD
The present invention relates to a timer configuring method and a timer using the same. The timer configuring method includes receiving, by a timer, a target time, and changing, by the timer, an area of a time display region on the basis of the target time and counting the target time. The area of the time display region is changed by rotation of a plurality of time display structures.

TIMING SYSTEMS INCLUDING TILTING SWITCHES
Timing systems configured to be used with a computing device including an electronic display and a tilt sensor. The timing systems include a switch and computer executable instructions. The switch includes a base and a cradle. The cradle is pivotally mounted to the base and configured to support the computing device. The cradle is configured to pivot relative to the base between a first pivot position and a second pivot position. The computer executable instructions are stored on the computing device and include instructions for displaying a game timer on the electronic display of the computing device. The instructions include controlling the game timer in response to the tilt sensor detecting that the cradle has pivoted between the first pivot position and the second pivot position.
Timer visualization
Systems and methods for timer visualization are disclosed. A device, such as a voice-controlled device, may not have means of visually displaying a timer and/or the progression of a timer. The device may send timer data to an accessory device, which may be configured to provide one or more visual indications of the timer set via the device as well as the progression of the timer. Multiple timers may be sent and differing visual indications may be displayed to show the multiple timers and/or attributes associated with the timers, such as the location of the device in an environment, the user profile associated with the setting of the timer, and/or the state of the device.

Slotted Timer
A slotted timer teaches time in a simple manner to those having difficulty understanding the concept of time. The timer rotates a shaft which rotates a colored disk attached to the shaft. The initial position of the colored disk is manually set by an operator using a card residing in a slot extending across the top of the timer. The card may illustrate an activity to be completed in a time period set by the operator. Different cards may be used to indicate different activities.
