Embodiments of the disclosure provide for handover or roaming of unmanned vehicles and missions between ground control stations (GCSs) of the same or different ground control centers (GCCs). Some embodiments receive a control change indication indicative of reassignment of a vehicle associated with a first GCS that is associated with a first GCC. Some embodiments reassign the vehicle from a first GCS to a second GCS associated with the GCC to enable the second GCS to newly access data corresponding to the vehicle via the master control system to enable control of the vehicle. Some embodiments reassign the vehicle from a first GCC to a second GCC by copying data corresponding to the vehicle from the master control system of the first GCC to a second master control system of a second GCC to enable control of the vehicle via at least one GCS of the second GCC.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SELECTING A TELEOPERATION CONTROL CENTER FOR A TELEOPERATED DRIVING SESSION

Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to selecting a teleoperation control center for a requested teleoperation driving session based on characteristics of the requested teleoperated driving session and a type of control for the session. In one embodiment, a method includes identifying 1) a type of control for a requested teleoperated driving session and 2) a computational parameter for the requested teleoperated driving session based on a session characteristic for the requested teleoperated driving session and the type of control. The method also includes identifying control capabilities of different teleoperation control centers. The method also includes transmitting control of a requesting vehicle to a target teleoperation control center of the different teleoperation control centers based on 1) the computational parameter, 2) the type of control, and 3) the control capabilities of the different teleoperation control centers.

REMOTE OPERATING SYSTEM, REMOTE OPERATOR TERMINAL, AND REMOTE OPERATION MANAGEMENT METHOD

A remote operating system for a remote operation of a mobility device includes one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to acquire terminal status information indicating a status of a remote operator terminal configured to be used by a remote operator for the remote operation, and calculate a terminal score indicating a suitability of the remote operator terminal for the remote operation based on the terminal status information. The terminal score is used to select a first remote operator terminal to be assigned to the remote operation of a target mobility device.

REMOTE OPERATION SYSTEM, REMOTE OPERATION MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM

A remote operation system of remote operation of a plurality of types of mobilities, the remote operation system includes one or more processors configured to: acquire operator license information indicating a license each of a plurality of remote operators has for operation of the plurality of types of mobilities; acquire required capability information indicating at least a required license required for the remote operation of a target mobility; and assign a first remote operator who has the required license out of the remote operators to the remote operation of the target mobility, based on the operator license information and the required license.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A remote operator outside the remote operation management center is an external operator. An external operator terminal is used by the external operator for a remote operation. A management system acquires at least one of license information indicating a license held by the external operator and terminal specification information indicating a specification of the external operator terminal. The management system extracts, as a requestable candidate, a remote operation request that is supportable by at least one of the license of the external operator and the specification of the external operator terminal from a remote operation request list. The management system transmits information on one or more requestable candidates to the external operator terminal before the external operator is assigned to any of the remote operation requests.

REMOTE SUPPORT MANAGEMENT DEVICE, REMOTE SUPPORT MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM

A device configured to manage remote support of a plurality of mobilities, the remote support management device includes a processor configured to: in response to a request for the remote support from one or more mobilities, perform an assignment process of assigning at least one of a remote supporter and a remote support terminal to the one or more mobilities; acquire a score serving as a basis of the assignment process from the one or more of the mobilities; acquire surroundings information indicating a status of an area where an update target mobility moves, the update target mobility being a mobility that is target of an update of the score; calculate an additional score of the update target mobility based on the acquired surroundings information; and update the score transmitted from the update target mobility by reflecting the additional score in the score.

REMOTE DRIVING SYSTEM

The remote driving system comprises one or more processors configured to additionally assign, at predetermined conditions, a second remote driver to a target mobility to which the first remote driver is assigned. The target mobility is configured to operate according to the driving operation information of the remote driving by the first remote driver while the remote driving by the second remote driver is not being performed, and to operate according to the driving operation information of the remote driving by the second remote driver while the remote driving by the second remote driver is being performed.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS

The present technology relates to an information processing system, an information processing method, and an information processing apparatus that are capable of assigning an appropriate operator to a vehicle on the basis of both the state of the vehicle to be remotely monitored and the state of the operator.

A vehicle state determination unit determines states of a plurality of vehicles to be remotely monitored. A monitoring state determination unit determines states of a plurality of operators regarding remote monitoring. An assignment unit assigns, on the basis of the states of the plurality of vehicles that are determined by the vehicle state determination unit and the states of the plurality of operators regarding remote monitoring that are determined by the monitoring state determination unit, one or more of the operators to each of the plurality of vehicles to remotely monitor the vehicle. The present technology is applicable to a management system, for example.
