A device for pastillating a flowable product, in particular a melt. The device has a revolving belt and a drop former, and the drop former deposits product drops on an upper run of the belt. The product drops, in the course of transportation on the upper run of the belt, solidify to form pastilles, and an arrangement for wetting the belt with a liquid release agent is provided upstream of that region in which the product drops are deposited on the belt. The release agent prevents or reduces the adhesion of the product drops to the belt, and a proportional metering pump is provided for continuously mixing the release agent from at least two liquid components during the operation of the device.

Disclosed is a vapor splitter including: a chimney tray dividing an internal space of a housing into an upper space and a lower space; a chimney provided on the chimney tray to enable the upper space and the lower space to communicate with each other; a cap covering the chimney with a gap therebetween such that a gas discharge hole is formed so that gas, coming out through the chimney, can be transferred to the upper space through the gas discharge hole; a liquid feeding unit for feeding liquid to the upper space; and a liquid discharging unit for discharging the liquid out of the upper space. The size of the gas discharge hole is adjusted by controlling the height of the liquid collected on the chimney. Further disclosed is a method of adjusting a vapor split ratio using the vapor splitter.

The venturi-principle foam proportioner controls a ratio of water and foam concentrate within a low pressure chamber to form a water and foam solution flowing out of the venturi-principle foam proportioner. The system also includes a variable foam concentrate orifice fluidly coupling the foam concentrate line to the low pressure chamber. The variable foam concentrate orifice includes an actuator configured to adjust an orifice area of the variable foam concentrate orifice based on a temperature of the foam concentrate.

An apparatus for dosing a fluid flow system with treatment fluid/chemicals is described. The apparatus includes a vessel; an inlet pipe or hose and an outlet pipe for coupling to the system so that fluid from the system may flow into the vessel and return into the system to flush chemicals from within the vessel and into the system. The vessel has a piston within it and the vessel wall defines a cylinder in which the piston moves under pressure of incoming fluid from a first position at which the vessel contains fluid to be dispensed into the system to a second position corresponding to substantially complete emptying of the vessel. The piston has a bypass passage through or around it that opens when the piston substantially reaches the second position so that fluid from the system may flow passed the piston when the piston is at the second position.

Fluid dispensing apparatus and method

A fluid dispenser and method of operating the same. The fluid dispenser can include a wheel driven by diluent passing along a flow path in the fluid dispenser. The wheel can be connected to a pump to pump fluid from a reservoir for dispense into the diluent. In some embodiments, the ratio of wheel rotations to pump cycles is selected to provide a desired and repeatable dilution ratio of concentrated fluid to diluent. The fluid dispenser can be portable and/or disposable, and in some embodiments is adapted for installation on an upper rim of a reservoir wall. Also, the fluid dispenser can be provided with a baffle limiting the velocity and impact of incoming diluent to the wheel driving the pump, thereby improving dosing accuracy of the dispenser in some embodiments.

The water inlet port (3) is also connected to the mixture outlet port (7), wherein the downstream part (19) of the main chamber (11) is also connected to the mixture outlet port (7). A water flow rate regulating device (60) is interposed between the upstream part (15) of the main chamber (11) and the water inlet port (3). The piston (13) is movable in the main chamber (11) under the action of the water entering the upstream part (15) of the main chamber (11) and the pressure difference created by the rod (130) of the piston (13) in the downstream part (19) of the main chamber (11), so that the chemical product contained in the downstream part (19) of the main chamber (11) is directed towards the mixture outlet port (7).

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DILUTION CONTROL

A dilution control device and method of operating the same. The dilution control device can include a structure for dispensing concentrate and diluent fluid in a desired dilution ratio utilizing volumetric dosing. In some embodiments, diluent fluid drives a wheel or compresses a pliable concentrate bag in order to dispense concentrate in the desired ratio with the diluent fluid. In some embodiments, one or more floats can be used to drive a pump or actuate a valve to dispense concentrate at a particular rate proportional with the flow rate of the diluent fluid. In some embodiments, a rocker is responsive to the flow of diluent fluid to pump concentrate. In some embodiments, the dilution control device can be operable to automatically modulate the dispense rate of concentrate when the diluent fluid flow rate is varied in order to maintain a predetermined dilution ratio.
