A handle using the joystick device also provided.
MAGNETIC SENSOR DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS, AND A FORCE SENSOR
A magnetic sensor system includes an integrated circuit comprising a semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor substrate has a plurality of magnetic sensors configured for measuring at least two first magnetic field components oriented in a first direction, and for measuring at least two second magnetic field components oriented in a second direction; a permanent magnet movable relative to the integrated circuit and configured for generating a magnetic field. A processing circuit is configured for determining at least two physical quantities related to a position of the magnet, using a predefined algorithm based on the measured first and second magnetic field components or values derived therefrom, as inputs, and that uses a plurality of at least eight constants which are determined using machine learning. A force sensor system, a joystick or thumbstick system, and a method may use the magnetic sensor system.
Non-contact hall-effect joystick
A joystick can include a shaft having an axis, a manipulating portion, and a sensing end with a magnet mounted thereto. The joystick can further include a movement mechanism configured to allow the manipulating portion of the shaft to be moved in three dimensions with respect to the axis of the shaft. The movement of the manipulating portion results in corresponding movement of the magnet that can be sensed in a non-contacting manner by a magnetic sensor positioned relative to the magnet.
Joystick assembly and game controller
A joystick assembly applicable to a game controller includes a base, a shaft, a movement sensing device, a memory and a processor. The shaft is pivotally disposed at the base. The movement sensing device is disposed in the base and configured to sense the movement of the shaft relative to the base to generate a movement signal. The memory is disposed in the base and stores an identification number of the joystick assembly and pieces of calibration data. The processor is disposed in the base and configured to determine whether to output the movement signal according to the calibration data.
Input Device
An input device includes an operating body that moves through an operation performed by an operator, a movable portion that slides in accordance with movement of the operating body, a lever including a first end portion that engages with the movable portion, a rotation center, a second end portion located on an opposite side of the rotation center from the first end portion, and a magnet provided on the second end portion, where the lever rotates in accordance with sliding of the movable portion, and a magnetic sensor disposed facing the magnet. A second length from the rotation center of the lever to the magnet is greater than a first length from the rotation center to the first end portion of the lever.
MULTIDIRECTIONAL INPUT APPARATUS
A multidirectional input apparatus includes a housing including an opening portion; an operation member including an operation portion provided outside the housing and configured to be operated, and a shaft portion extending from the operation portion and inserted into the opening portion, the operation member being configured to receive an operation to be tilted with respect to the housing and an operation to be pushed into the housing; and a cover member that covers a portion surrounding the shaft portion, the cover member being configured to come into contact with the housing when the operation of pushing the operation member is performed.
Multi-axis gimbal mounting for controller providing tactile feedback for the null command
