KNOB ASSEMBLY FOR COOK TOP
20180238465 · 2018-08-23 · ·

A knob assembly includes a front panel, a knob located at a front side of the front panel and configured to rotate based on operation by a user, a knob shaft that is coupled to the knob and that extends through the front panel, a supporting pipe that receives the knob shaft and that supports the knob shaft, the supporting pipe being configured to maintain a position relative to the front panel, a valve configured to control supply of gas to the appliance, a valve shaft connected to the valve and configured to control the valve to adjust a flow rate of gas based on rotation of the valve shaft, and a joint that couples the knob shaft to the valve shaft and that is configured to transfer at least one of a rotational motion or a linear motion of the knob shaft to the valve shaft.

ELECTRONIC BRAKE VALVE CONTROLLER WITH ADJUSTABLE FRICTION AND DETENT TORQUE

A brake controller having independently adjustable friction and detent torque to allow for easy adjustment of handle feel without changing or replacing components. The brake handle is coupled to a cam that rotates with the handle and has a series of divots in its outer circumference corresponding to established brake handle positions. A detent roller is biased by an adjustable spring into engagement with the outer circumference of the cam and thus into the divots when the handle is moved. A separately adjustable spring biases a lateral surface of the cam into engagement with a frictional surface. Independent adjustment of the two spring can adjust both detent and friction torque, thus allowing a user to easily adjust handle feel without having to change or replace handle components

Input device

A pattern of a rotational operation force is changed by a state of a device of an input object. An input device includes a knob, a rotation shaft body that rotates together with the knob, a rotation controller that is capable of changing a rotational operation force, a detector that detects a rotational position, a controller, and a storage that stores a plurality of patterns. The controller reads a pattern from the storage according to a pattern signal input from an outside and controls the rotation controller when the knob is operated to be rotated according to a rotational position detected by the detector and the read pattern.

THROTTLE PEDAL

A throttle pedal assembly comprises a housing having a first and second side, top, bottom, front and back walls; a main chamber open to the front and bottom of the housing and a sensor cavity. A pedal assembly comprises a pedal, a pedal arm, and a head at an end of the pedal arm rotatable a pivot axis. A magnet is operatively connected to the pedal assembly to rotate on the pivot axis as the pedal assembly rotates about the pivot axis. A Hall effect sensor assembly mounted in the sensor cavity to be proximate the magnet yet separated from the magnet. The cavity and Hall effect sensor assembly are respectively shaped and sized such that the Hall chip and the magnet lay on a common axis such that the Hall chip and the magnet are coaxially aligned. The sensor cavity is sealed to prevent contaminants from entering the cavity.

Rotatable control handles and methods of using rotatable control handles are described herein. An example embodiment of a rotatable control handle comprises a handle, a compressible member disposed within the handle, a cap attached to the handle, and a cannula rotatably attached between the handle and the cap. The handle comprises a first member and a second member that is releasably attachable to the first member.
