Redundant and dissimilar system for monitoring the status of control contactors of an aircraft control stick
A redundant and dissimilar system for monitoring the status of contactors of an aircraft control stick. This monitoring system comprises at least one electrical power source, at least one processor and several circuits for monitoring the status of the switches of the contactors. Each monitoring circuit comprises and electrical power source, a switch for each contactor, the switches of a contactor being connected to each other, and an electronic assembly provided with receivers arranged in series with each other. Each switch is arranged in parallel with at least one receiver so as to short-circuit the at least one receiver when the switch is in the closed state. Each processor measures and analyses an electrical feature of the electronic assembly, such as a mains voltage VE as the terminals of the electronics assembly, in order to determine the status of each switch.
LIFTING MACHINE, SUCH AS AN AERIAL LIFT, FOR LIFTING PERSONS AND OPTIONALLY LOADS
Disclosed is a lifting machine (I) comprising a work platform (2), a mechanism (6) for lifting the work platform (2), and a control console (7) for controlling at least the lifting mechanism (6), the work platform (2) comprising a floor (3) and a guardrail (4) forming the longitudinal (41) and transverse (42) walls of an enclosure surrounding at least a part of the floor (3), the guardrail (4) comprising at least one top rail (5), referred to as a handrail, and the control console (7) comprising an attachment device (8) for removably coupling the control console (7) to the top rail (5). The top rail (5) is a rail with non-circular cross-section, and the control console (7) can be coupled to the top rail (5) by snap-fastening.
USER INTERFACE DEVICE
A user interface device for controlling a robot manipulator having an end effector comprising at least one movable element, the user interface device comprising: a body for being held by a user, the body comprising an elongate grip portion configured to be gripped by one or more of a user's second to fourth fingers; a trigger extending transversely to the direction of elongation of the grip portion, the trigger being supported by the body so as to be capable of rotating relative to the body about a rotation axis passing through the grip portion; and a drive mechanism at least partially housed in the grip portion, the drive mechanism being coupled to the trigger for applying a torque to the trigger.
Interchangeable multi-function handle for a work vehicle
A handle assembly for an armrest control console of a steering system of a work vehicle. The handle assembly includes a base member, a hand-receiving member, and an electro-mechanical connection located in between the base member and the hand-receiving member. The electro-mechanical connection detachably connects the hand-receiving member to the base member such that the hand-receiving member is rigidly supported by and electrically coupled with the base member. The electro-mechanical connection is located exterior to the armrest control console.
OPERATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Methods and apparatus provide for controlling an operating device, wherein the operating device includes: (i) a grip part to be gripped by a user; and (ii) an operation part for activation by a finger of the user gripping the grip part, where the operation part includes: (i) a movable part capable of moving from a resting position toward another position in response to a force applied by the finger of the user, (ii) a biasing element operating to urge the movable part toward the resting position, (iii) a sensor operating to measure the force applied by the finger of the user to the movable part and produce a sensing signal therefrom, and (iv) a motorized assembly operating to receive a drive signal, and in response, apply an amount of force to the movable part in opposition to the force applied by the finger of the user, and where the drive signal is a variable dependent on variations in the sensing signal, such that the amount of force applied to the movable part in opposition to the force applied by the finger of the user provides the user with haptic feedback.
MACHINE CENTRIC CONTROL FOR COMPACTION MACHINES
A construction machine that frequently changes between a forward and reverse direction of movement includes a system and method for operating the machine such that rotation of the operator seat can change the direction and speed of the machine's movement to minimize disorientation by the operator. The machine can be changed from moving in the forward direction to moving in the reverse direction, without changing the position of a propel lever or joystick that is used to control the direction and speed of the machine's movement. Rotation of the seat can be used to proportionally reduce the speed of the machine as the machine nears a threshold for changing direction. The joystick can be a dual axis lever that can move along a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis. The direction of movement and speed of the machine can depend on a combination of the joystick position and seat position.
A JOYSTICK DEVICE FOR A MARINE VESSEL
The present disclosure generally relates to a joystick device (100) operable to provide speed, direction and steering commands for controlling a marine vessel (300), the joystick device (100) comprising a movable steering lever (102) extending on an axis (V) and adapted to be tilted from a neutral position in at least four directions including a forward, a rearward, a leftward, and a rightward direction, wherein—an active length of the movable steering lever (102) is adjustable between a first (L1) and a second (L2) lever length,—the first lever length (L1) is shorter than the second lever length (L2),—a first mode for operating the marine vessel (300) is associated with the first lever length (L1), and—a second mode for operating the marine vessel (300) is associated with the second lever length (L2), the second mode being different from the first mode for operating the marine vessel (300).
