The screen layer includes first lines, second lines arranged in a weave pattern with the first lines, and a lower coating layer covering a lower portion of the first lines and the second lines and overlaps the separation space.

A portable information handling system modular hybrid architecture separates components between rotationally coupled housing portions to minimize cabling, connectors and materials, and to provide improved durability that supports recycling and reuse of the components. For example, a plurality of housing cover configurations couple to housing portions of different dimensions with opposing couples and a common keystone element that, when installed, prevents separation of the opposing couplers. Removal of the keystone element provides ready access to the housing portion interior to recycle processing components, such as a secondary board having an embedded controller and charger and a battery interfaced with the secondary board.

At least a part of at least one of the first fixing element or the display assembly has a second deformability including capability to change a length in a preset direction.

A housing for an electronic device is disclosed. The housing comprises a first component and a second component separated from the first component by a gap. The housing also includes a first molded element disposed at least partially within the gap and defining at least a portion of an interlock feature, and a second molded element disposed at least partially within the gap and mechanically engaging the interlock feature. The first component, the second component, and the second molded element form a portion of an exterior surface of the housing. A method of forming the housing is also disclosed.

An information device has a camera cover unit that is fixed to an upper edge in the outside of a display device in a back cover. The camera cover unit includes a cover case that is fixed to the upper edge and a cover body that is housed in the cover case and is slidable between a first position and a second position. The cover body includes an end that is placed in the first position to cover the front of the camera and placed in the second position to avoid the front of the camera, and a leaf spring that is elastically deformable inward and outward of the frame of the upper edge.

An electronic device includes a first electrical element, a heat dissipation sheet having a heat diffusion member for diffusing the heat generated from the first electrical element, and an anti-shock member arranged to be stacked with at least a part of the heat diffusion member; and a bracket which provides a space for accommodating the heat dissipation sheet. An electronic device according to various example embodiments may include a housing including a first housing and a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing within a specific range, a heating part disposed to at least one region of the first housing and second housing, a driving unit disposed to one region in the housing, a flexible display which may include a first portion exposed for view (visible to a user) to the outside of the housing and a second portion extending from the first portion and inserted into the housing or drawn out to the outside when the second housing moves with respect to the first housing, a support structure, at least one temperature sensor, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to sense a temperature and at least control a movement speed of the second housing based on at least the sensed temperature.

An electronic device includes a casing and a waterproof lid structure. The casing has an opening. The waterproof lid structure corresponds in position to the opening and includes a supportive sheet metal, waterproof component, movable latch lid and bolts. The supportive sheet metal has an axle pivotally connected to one side of the opening. The waterproof component hermetically seals the opening and lies on one side of the supportive sheet metal. The movable latch lid covers the other side of the supportive sheet metal and is penetrated by passages. The bolts correspond in position to the passages, respectively, and each include a rod portion and a head portion disposed at one end of the rod portion. The rod portions pass through the passages and supportive sheet metal to get fastened to the waterproof component, allowing the head portions to stop at the outer side of the movable latch lid.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the disclosure may include: a display; and a housing including the display, at least a portion of the housing including: an aluminum alloy machined to have a designated shape; a first film layer formed on the aluminum alloy; and a second film layer formed between the aluminum alloy and the first film layer, wherein the first film layer may be formed by a first anodizing process using a first voltage on the aluminum alloy, and the second film layer may be formed by a second anodizing process using a second voltage on the aluminum alloy after the first anodizing process.

A system can include a tablet computer that includes a tablet display; and a clamshell computer that includes a keyboard housing, a display housing and a hinge assembly that rotatably couples the keyboard housing and the display housing, where the display housing includes a display viewable via a display side, an opposing back side, and a tablet computer recess disposed between the display side and the back side that removably receives the tablet computer.
