COMPUTER CASE WITH INTEGRATED TILT STAND
A lightweight, protective case for a laptop computer includes an integrated, fold-out tilt stand. In a transport position, a stand component is received within a designated region such as a recessed cavity on the bottom of a keyboard shell component, and one or more stand retaining members. In a use position, the stand component extends outwardly from the bottom surface of the keyboard shell component, with the stand retaining member(s) in a straightened condition, thereby maintaining the keyboard shell component at an angle relative to a support surface. The stand retaining member(s) may be flexible or hinged, and including a magnetic or other structure for maintaining the stand component against the keyboard shell component when not in use. The upper edge of the stand component and/or the upper end of the stand retaining member may be hingedly affixed with flexible materials that extends through the keyboard shell component.
LOW PROFILE FRICTION HINGE
The described technology provides a hinge device including a band including a first band end coupled by a slidable rotatable coupling to a first panel and a second band end coupled by a rotatable coupling to a part of a central support section and a different band including a first different band end coupled by a different slidable rotatable coupling to a second panel and a second different band end coupled by a different rotatable coupling to a different part of the central support section, wherein the central support section is configured to rotate around a virtual pivot axis parallel to each of the first panel and the second panel and located outside a surface plane of each of the first panel and the second panel.
APPARATUSES TO SELECTIVELY SUPPORT ELECTONIC DEVICES IN FIRST AND SECOND ORIENTATIONS
According to examples, an apparatus may include a base plate to be coupled to an electronic device, a first movable plate, and a second movable plate. The base plate may include a first edge that may extend in a first direction and a second edge that may extend from the first edge in a second direction that is different than the first direction. The first edge may be disposed adjacent to the second edge. The first movable plate may be rotatably coupled to the first edge of the base plate to selectively support the electronic device in a first orientation. The second movable plate may be rotatably coupled to the second edge of the base plate to selectively support the electronic device in a second orientation.
DETACHABLE KEYBOARD AND STAND WITH STRAP HINGE
A cover for a tablet or similar computer device equipped with strap hinges is disclosed. In embodiments, the cover may include three strap hinges to allow the tablet to be placed in several different configurations. The cover is equipped with at least two magnets in different polarities, which may be detected by the tablet. Based on the detection of at least one magnet and its polarity, the tablet may cause the interface of its operating system to be placed into a configuration appropriate to the configuration of the cover. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Multiple Device Content Management
The description relates to cooperatively controlling devices based upon their location and pose. One example can receive first sensor data associated with a first device and second sensor data associated with a second device. This example can analyze the first sensor data and the second sensor data to determine relative locations and poses of the first device relative to the second device and can supply the locations and poses to enable content to be collectively presented across the devices based upon the relative locations and poses.
GRIP DEVICE TO ENABLE A NUMBER OF OPERATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE BASED ON ATTACHMENT THERETO
A method includes providing a main frame configured to be attached to a surface associated with a portable electronic device, and providing a grip element. The method also includes forming a grip device based on receiving one or more slide element(s) of the grip element through a channel of the main frame, and enabling portrait and landscape orientation based operations associated with the portable electronic device through the attachment of the formed grip device to the portable electronic device.
Attachable display screen for electronic devices
The present disclosure provides an attachable external display screen for use on electronic devices. The display screen may be removably mounted onto a surface of an electronic device to provide the user with an additional display screen. The attachable display screen may utilize a dual sliding mechanism that allows for the display screen to slide out to different lengths relative to the screen of the electronic device. The attachable display screen may also utilize a torque hinge to pivotally couple the display screen to a frame that mounts onto the electronic device. The attachable display screen is rotatable about both the horizontal and vertical axes, which allows a user to tilt and adjust the angle of the display screen.
COMPUTING DEVICE MECHANISMS
An example computing device includes a hinge, a first housing, and a second housing rotatably connected to the first housing via the hinge. As an example, a first display device is disposed in the first housing. The second housing includes a cover disposed along a bottom surface of the second housing, wherein the cover includes a first portion and a second portion separable from the first portion of the cover. As an example, the second portion of the cover includes an L-shaped mechanism coupled to the first portion of the cover at a first end of the L-shaped mechanism and to the first housing at a second end of the L-shaped mechanism.
FOLDABLE AUXILIARY MONITOR
According to aspects of the disclosure, a display system is provided comprising a support, a first display coupled to the support, wherein the first display is configured to display output information received from at least one computing device, and a second display rotatably coupled to the first display and rotatably coupled to the support, wherein the second display is configured to display output information received from the at least one computing device.
AN ADJUSTABLE DEVICE FOOT
An improved method and system for providing an adjustable foot (155) for an electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device may include a base (150), at least a foot (155) containing a portion being movable relative to the base between a first configuration and a second configuration, a magnetic element for moving said movable portion of the foot between the first configuration and the second configuration, and a display element (140) movably connected to the base, where the movement of the display element (140) from a first position to a second position causes the magnetic element to move the movable portion from the first configuration to the second configuration.
