Power Consumption Control Method and Device
A power consumption control method includes obtaining, by a wireless access device, characteristic data of one or more first components, where the characteristic data indicates a running status of the wireless access device; determining, by the wireless access device, target power consumption statuses of a plurality of second components based on the characteristic data; and adjusting, by the wireless access device, power consumption statuses of the second components based on the target power consumption statuses.
Antenna assemblies, terminal devices, and methods for improving radiation performance of antenna
An antenna assembly, a terminal device having the antenna assembly, and a method for improving a radiation performance of an antenna are provided. The terminal device includes an antenna assembly, and a controller. The antenna assembly comprises an antenna, a first adjusting unit, a second adjusting unit, and an antenna switch; the controller is configured to control, based on a current working power of the antenna, the antenna switch to select one of the first adjusting unit and the second adjusting unit to be in an enabled state, so that a radiation direction of the antenna can be adjusted by the selected adjusting unit to a radiation direction formed based on the selected adjusting unit.
Gesture-triggered augmented-reality
A user may routinely wear or hold more than one computing devices. One of the computing devices may be a head-mounted computing-device configured for augmented reality. The head-mounted computing-device may include a camera. While imaging, the camera can consume power and processing resources that diminish a battery of the head-mounted computing device. To improve a battery life and to enhance a user's privacy, imaging of the camera can be deactivated during periods when the user is not interacting with the head-mounted computing device and activated when the user wishes to interact with the head-mounted computing device. The activation of the camera can be triggered by gestured data collected by a computing device other than the head-mounted computing-device.
Optimizing mobile network traffic coordination across multiple applications running on a mobile device
A mobile device allows transmission of additional outgoing application data requests in response to occurrence of receipt of data transfer from a remote entity, user input in response to a prompt displayed to the user, and a change in a background status of an application executing on the mobile device. Additional outgoing application data requests are foreground application requests.
Controlling a mode of operation of an electronic device
A modem/gateway device is provided that includes a network interface configured to connect to and communicate with local area network (LAN) clients and Wi-Fi clients, a non-transitory memory configured to store instructions, and a hardware processor. The hardware processor is configured to execute the instructions to monitor a connection status of the LAN clients and Wi-Fi clients connected to the network interface, and compare the connected LAN clients against a LAN client list and the connected Wi-Fi clients against a Wi-Fi client list. The mode of operation of the electronic device is controlled to be in a power savings mode when none of the connected LAN or none of the connected Wi-Fi clients is on the respective LAN or Wi-Fi client list, and is controlled to be in a normal power mode when any of the connected LAN or Wi-Fi clients is on the respective LAN or Wi-Fi client list.
Touch power management circuit and touch driving system including the same
The present embodiment relates to a touch power management circuit and a touch driving system including the same, and more particularly, to a touch power management circuit that prevents unnecessary power consumption during a pen touch driving period in order to reduce power consumption of a display device, and a touch driving system including the same.
Information processing apparatus, imaging apparatus, information processing system, information processing method, and program
Reduction in power consumption of a video camera and a remote controller that displays a captured image of the video camera and improvement of operability are achieved. In a system including the video camera and the remote controller that displays a captured image of the video camera, when a period in which there is no operation on the operation unit of the remote controller reaches a first prescribed time, transmission of the captured image from the video camera to the remote controller via Wi-Fi communication and displaying processing on a display unit of the remote controller are stopped. Further, when a period in which there is no operation on the operation unit of the remote controller reaches a second prescribed time, the Wi-Fi communication is interrupted. Valid operation unit information in each mode is displayed on the display unit of the remote controller.
Wearable Device for Creating Social Distancing Awareness
A wearable device for creating social distancing awareness is disclosed. The wearable device may include a sensor unit, an output unit, and a control unit connected to the sensor unit and the output unit. The sensor unit may detect one or more objects within a predetermined distance from a user wearing the wearable device. The control unit may control the output unit to generate one or more alerts for a predetermined time period, in response to detecting the one or more objects. The output unit may generate the one or more alerts for creating the social distancing awareness.
Panel self-refresh (PSR) transmission of bulk data
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of transferring bulk data, such as OLED compensation mask data, generated by a source device to a sink device using a high-bandwidth embedded DisplayPort (eDP) connection contemporaneous with an ENABLED Panel Self-Refresh (PSR) mode. Upon ENABLING the PSR mode, the source control circuitry causes the source transmitter circuitry, the sink receiver circuitry, and the eDP high-bandwidth communication link to remain active rather than inactive. The source control circuitry generates one or more data transport units (DTUs) having a header portion that contains data indicative of the presence of a bulk data payload and the non-display status of the bulk data payload carried by the DTUs.
TWS EARPHONE, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REDUCING EARPHONE ENERGY CONSUMPTION, AND MEDIUM
Disclosed are a TWS earphone, a method and apparatus for reducing earphone energy consumption, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method for reducing earphone energy consumption comprises: determining whether a target earphone is in an off-ear state and is not placed in a charging case; if so, acquiring a timekeeping duration since the target earphone is taken off of an ear; determining whether the timekeeping duration exceeds a first preset threshold value; and if the timekeeping duration exceeds the first preset threshold value, performing energy consumption reduction processing on the earphone. According to the present application, the duration since an earphone is taken off of an ear is evaluated for the earphone that is taken off of the ear and is not placed in a charging case, so as to perform energy consumption reduction processing on the earphone that has been taken off of the ear for a relatively long duration, such that unnecessary power consumption of the earphone when same is in a not-in-use state can be effectively reduced, and the effective service time of the earphone after charging is prolonged.
