BANNER NOTIFICATION IN LOCKED HOST MONITOR
Aspects of the disclosure relates to systems and methods for locking a display device of a host computer remotely using a management controller, and providing a banner notification on the locked display device. The system includes a computing device as the host computer, which has a display device, and a management controller. When the management controller receives a locking command, the management controller, in response to the locking command, performs the following operations: generating a locking instruction, and sending the locking instruction to the computing device to lock the display device; and generating a message display instruction including a message to be displayed, and sending the message display instruction to the display device of the computing device, in order to display the message on the display device. Thus, a local user at the computing device may be notified by the message that the display device is locked.
Display assistant device having a monitoring mode and an assistant mode
A display assistant device comprises a display, a camera, a speaker, microphones, a processor and memory. The memory stores programs comprising instructions that, when executed by the processor, enable a plurality of modes of the display assistant device. The modes include a monitoring mode and an assistant mode. In the monitoring mode, the device is configured to perform a remote monitoring function in which first video captured by the camera is streamed to a remote server system for monitoring uses. The monitoring uses include transmission of the first video to remote client devices authorized to access the first video. In the assistant mode, the device is configured to perform a second plurality of functions that excludes the monitoring function and includes a video communication function in which second video captured by the camera is transmitted to second devices participating in a video communication with a first user of the device.

Remote secured terminal
A computer implemented method for providing communication between a secured client computer and a remote computer. There is provided a client computer that includes peripheral components. Each peripheral component is configured, by a processor, to process a corresponding peripheral component data of a data type that is not compatible with peripheral component data types processed by a processor of other peripheral components. The processor of each peripheral component is further configured to code the corresponding data of the specified data type. Each peripheral component is configured, by the processor, to establish a secured peer-to-peer communication channel between the peripheral component and the remote computer that is authorized to communicate with the client computer, and is further configured to code data that is communicated between the authorized remote computer and the peripheral component through the secured communication channel. The coded data being indecryptable by the processors of other of the peripheral components.

DYNAMIC SECURE KEYBOARD RESOURCE OBTAINING INTERFACE DEFINITIONS FOR SECURE AD-HOC CONTROL OF A TARGET DEVICE IN A SECURE PEER-TO-PEER DATA NETWORK
A secure executable container executed by an endpoint device establishes a two-way trusted relationship in a secure peer-to-peer data network with a user entity, generates an endpoint identifier for the endpoint device in the secure peer-to-peer data network, and associates the endpoint device with a federation identifier identifying the user entity in the secure peer-to-peer data network. The secure executable container also: establishes a two-way trusted relationship between the endpoint device and a target network device; securely obtains, via the secure peer-to-peer data network, a user interface element definition describing a user interface element executable by the target network device; and supplies the user interface element definition to a secure keyboard resource executed in the endpoint device, causing the secure keyboard resource to generate a local representation of the user interface element for control of the target network device via the secure keyboard resource.

DISPLAY ASSISTANT DEVICE
This application is directed to a display assistant device that acts as a voice-activated user interface device. The display assistant device includes a base, a screen and a speaker. The base is configured for sitting on a surface. The screen has a rear surface and is supported by the base at the rear surface. A bottom edge of the screen is configured to be held above the surface by a predefined height, and the base is substantially hidden behind the screen from a front view of the display assistant device. The speaker is concealed inside the base and configured to project sound substantially towards the front view of the display assistant device.

LOCKING FUNCTION FOR A MOBILE DEVICE
A mobile device comprises a functional arrangement for performing a function of the mobile device, a coupling device for connecting the mobile device to a stationary device, an authentication device for authenticating the stationary device and an activation device. The authentication device authenticates the stationary device based on information on the stationary device. The activation device activates the functional arrangement when the mobile device is connected to the stationary device by the coupling device, and when the stationary device has been authenticated by the authentication device.
