A mouse with a tunable center of gravity is disclosed. According to certain embodiments, the mouse includes a moveable weight system that is used to move one or more weights from one position to another in the computer mouse. The relocation of one or more weights from one position to another in the computer mouse changes the center of gravity of the computer mouse.

Removable button members for electronic pointing devices

An electronic pointing device includes a housing. In addition, the electronic device includes a position transducer coupled to the housing. Further, the electronic pointing device includes a plurality of electrical switches coupled to the housing. Still further, the electronic pointing device includes a cover plate removably coupled to the housing. The cover plate includes a plurality of holes, each hole aligned with one of the plurality of electrical switches. The electronic pointing device also includes a plurality of button members. Each button member is removably disposed in one of the holes of the cover plate and disposed to engage the corresponding, aligned electrical switch to actuate that electrical switch.

Adjustable pointing devices

An adjustable pointing device is disclosed wherein the device comprises a base, a grip portion, and an adjusting mechanism, the grip portion being attached to the base by the adjusting mechanism wherein the adjusting mechanism comprises an elastic member biasing the grip portion away from the base and comprising a locking mechanism movable between a locked position in which the locking mechanism is to prevent the grip portion from moving relative to the base and an unlocked position in which the locking mechanism is to allow the grip portion to move relative to the base.

The scroll wheel assembly is disposed between the upper casing and the lower casing, which comprises a securing base secured to the lower casing, a rotary base disposed on the securing base, a scroll wheel component movably disposed on the rotary base rotatable around a first axis relative to the rotary base, a measuring component secured to the rotary base, and a transmission mechanism connected to the rotary base, wherein the transmission mechanism transmits external force to the rotating base, such that the rotary base rotates around a second axis relative to the securing base to adjust the offset angle of the scroll wheel component.

A vertical mouse includes a base and a mouse body. The base has a vertical receiving groove. The mouse body includes a housing. The mouse body is detachably received in the vertical receiving groove, the housing leans against the vertical receiving groove, and the mouse body has a first operation mode and a second operation mode. Under the first operation mode, the mouse body is received in the base with a first orientation, and under the second operation mode, the mouse body is received in the base with a second orientation.

Configurable ambidextrous input device

In certain embodiments, an input device includes a chassis and a depressible actuator disposed on the chassis that, when depressed, generates and sends a control signal to a processor, where the actuator is coupleable to a removable button cover that provides user-access to activate the actuator, and a removable blank cover to prevent user access to activate the actuator. The button cover and blank cover can be separate from the chassis and may directly attach to the actuator. The input device can further include a second depressible actuator disposed on the chassis that, when depressed, generates and sends a second control signal to the processor, where the second actuator is coupleable to the button cover and the blank cover.

A system provides for ergonomic handheld integration of multiple user interface devices. The system includes a housing defining an internal compartment and including an upper frame extending over the internal compartment. The upper frame defines a peripheral portion and an intermediate support portion, where the intermediate support portion is at least partially raised above the peripheral portion. A pointing device portion is coupled to the housing, which pointing device portion includes a positional tracking sensor disposed in the internal compartment and at least one control button coupled in depressible manner to the upper frame. A keyboard portion is coupled to the housing, which keyboard portion includes a plurality of keys distributed over at least first and second keyboard sections to collectively define a substantially complete keyboard of predetermined type. The first and second keyboard sections are divided by the intermediate support portion extending therebetween.
