Systems and methods for product imaging and provisioning applications
Systems and methods for product imaging and provisioning include a mobile application (app) installed on an imaging device, where the mobile app activates the imaging device to generate an image of a product tag associated with an unavailable product at a first location. The mobile app determines, based on the image, a product indicator associated with the unavailable product. A provisioning app, executing on a remote device, receives the product indicator associated with the unavailable product. The provisioning app also receives a user indicator associated with a first user and executes one or more product provisioning rules that determine, based on a product availability database and the user indicator, an availability result. The availability result indicates whether the unavailable product will be available to the first user. The provisioning app is further operable to send the availability result to the imaging device for presentation by the imaging device.
TRUE SECURE AIRGAP
Techniques for securely monitoring an air-gapped machine. Systems, methods, and devices for generating a status message representing a state of an air-gapped machine, converting the status message to a visual code, displaying the visual code to a display monitor connected to the air-gapped machine, capturing image data of the visual code at a camera connected to a monitoring machine, and transmitting the image data to the monitoring machine, thereby causing the visual code to be accessible by a user of the monitoring machine. Techniques for verifying the integrity of the status message, and optionally, encrypting the status message.
Data Consumable for Intelligent Transport System
Systems and techniques are described for consuming data in an intelligent transport system. In some implementations, a system includes a display screen device and sensors. The sensors generates data describing sensor observations of a roadway at a first location and provides data describing the observations to the display screen device. The display screen device receives the data and determines an event and a type of the event. The display screen device displays second data indicative of the type of event, the second data being of a format that is consumable by a sensor on a vehicle traversing the roadway towards the first location, the sensor (i) located within a first resolution distance from the display screen device and (ii) located outside a second resolution distance of detecting the event, wherein the second data is used by an on-board processing system of the vehicle to adjust its driving behavior.
FUNCTIONALITY TO IMPROVE EXTENDER ONBOARDING PRIOR TO COUNTRY CODE DETERMINATION
A client device for use with a wireless network controller device, a connected wireless APD and a second wireless APD, the client device including: a memory; and a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory to cause the client device to: associate with the wireless network; and transmit an onboard new APD instruction to the wireless network controller device to cause the wireless network controller device to: transmit a restricted mode instruction to instruct the connected wireless APD and to instruct the connected wireless APD to transmit a beacon; receive a notification of the probe request; transmit the onboarding instruction to instruct the connected wireless APD; and transmit the primary mode instruction to instruct the connected wireless APD, wherein the onboarding instruction causes one of: the connected wireless APD to transmit the beacon; and the connected wireless APD to not transmit the beacon only on the assigned channel.
DIAGNOSTIC TOOL WITH QR CODE GENERATING CAPABILITY
A diagnostic tool for use in diagnosing a vehicle comprises a data interface for accessing an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle and receiving diagnostic data from the ECU, a processor for generating a barcode encoding at least a portion of the received diagnostic data, and a display for displaying the generated barcode to allow for contactless transmission of the at least a portion of the received diagnostic data to an external device independent of any need for electrical or bidirectional communication with the external device. An external device may capture an image of the barcode, decode the at least a portion of the received diagnostic data based on the captured image of the barcode, transmit the decoded diagnostic data to a server, and receive vehicle condition information from the server based on the decoded diagnostic data.
Creating secure data in an oil and gas supply chain
The present invention generally relates to a system and method creating secure data in a gas and oil supply chain. The system creates secure data related to oil and gas assets while traversing an oil and gas supply chain. At least one repository system(s), which collects secure data generated by capturing information using a secure observer device, sends the secure data to a gateway which is a part of a global management system or an integrity management system to create clustered events. The disclosure also relates to a system and method for managing and controlling data between entities in an oil and gas asset supply chain, and in particular to an excise tax management system and method to identify and reconcile tax filings, production volumes and operational reports.
APPARATUS HAVING HYBRID MONOCHROME AND COLOR IMAGE SENSOR ARRAY
There is provided in one embodiment an apparatus having an image sensor array. In one embodiment, the image sensor array can include monochrome pixels and color sensitive pixels. The monochrome pixels can be pixels without wavelength selective color filter elements. The color sensitive pixels can include wavelength selective color filter elements.
REMOTE BARCODES DECODING
Systems and method for remotely capturing a barcode and local decoding. The barcode may be captured using a remote imaging sensor. Images captured may be transmitted to a mobile scanner with an incorporated decoder. Additionally, inputs to the mobile scanner may facilitate moving the remote imaging sensor in three-dimensional space. Some embodiments also include a pointer device that may non-destructively mark a position for the remote imaging sensor to target. An image or series of image may be transmitted to the mobile scanner. When an image includes a barcode, the mobile scanner may decode the barcode and provide confirmation feedback.
Microcontroller-based code reader and related method and device
A microcontroller-based code reader and method of reading a machine-readable indicia may include capturing, by an imager, an image of a machine-readable indicia disposed an object. An image subsample of an image captured by the imager may be read from the imager. The image subsample or partial image data may be stored in an embedded memory of a microcontroller in electrical communication with the imager. The machine-readable indicia may be decoded from the image subsample.
Encoding signals on flexographic printing plates to enable tracking and management
The present disclosure relates generally to signal encoding for flexographic printing plates. One aspect is a flexographic, photopolymer printing plate having transparent layers to allow encoded signal printed or laser ablated thereon to be detectable from both sides of the printing plate. Another aspect is a flexographic, photopolymer printing plate having an encoded signal formed in a photocured layer. Still another aspect is a system for tracking such printing plates, including managing location, print impression count, location tracking, etc. Other aspects are described as well.
