Image data extraction for transaction management
Techniques are described for migrating information from a first account to a second account, based on analyzed image(s) of document(s). Image(s) of a document may be generated using an image capture device of a smartphone or other portable computing device. The image(s) may be analyzed, through pattern recognition analysis or barcode scanning, to extract the information from the image(s). The information may then be employed to schedule a transaction, such as payment of a bill described in the information. In some instances, the extracted information may be used as part of an account migration process, in which transactions are migrated from a first account to a second account.
Information security system and method for multi-factor authentication for ATMS using authentication media
A system for verifying a user operating an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) sends an authentication media item to a user device associated with the user when the ATM receives a transaction request. The system receives, from the ATM, a first image of the authentication media item when the authentication media item is presented to the ATM. The system compares the first image of the authentication media item with a second image of the authentication media item stored in a user profile associated with the user. The system extracts a first unique code from the first image of the authentication media item, and a second unique code from the second image of the authentication media item. The system determines whether the first unique code corresponds to the second unique code. The system approves the transaction request if it is determined that the first unique code corresponds to the second unique code.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CARDLESS DISBURSEMENT FROM AN AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE
A method for cardless withdrawal from an automated teller machine includes: receiving, by an input device of an automated teller machine (ATM), user input comprising at least: a first code, a device identifier associated with a computing device, and a transaction amount; electronically transmitting, by the ATM, at least the first code, device identifier, and the transaction amount to a first computing system; receiving, by a receiving device of the ATM, a transaction account number from the first computing system; electronically transmitting, by the ATM, a withdrawal request including at least the transaction account number and the transaction amount to an acquiring institution; receiving, by the receiving device of the ATM, an indication from the acquiring institution that indicates approval of the withdrawal request; and dispensing, by a dispensing module of the ATM, one or more payment instruments having a value equivalent to the transaction amount.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSFERRING RESOURCE ACCESS
Systems and methods for transferring resource access from a sender to a recipient are disclosed that can allow a sender to specify an amount of a resource to provide access to (e.g., an amount of money or an amount of access rights), while still providing security for the sender's sensitive credential information (e.g., PAN and/or PIN). These systems and methods can allow a sender to transfer resource access from any location and at any time of the day. In the case of money transfers, the recipient can quickly and directly obtain the money from any ATM location associated with any bank and at any time of the day, even without a bank account.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING AN ONLINE TRANSACTION REQUEST
A computer server includes a transaction processor that is configured to receive from a POS terminal an incoming authorization request that includes an original numeric value, a token cryptogram and an identification number identifying an identity token; confirm that the token cryptogram was generated from the original numeric value and a cryptographic key associated with the token; determine primary and secondary numeric values from the original numeric value and a user profile associated with the identification number; confirm that the secondary numeric value is not greater than the balance in a loyalty points account associated with the identification number; transmit to an authorization server a revised authorization request that includes the identification number and the primary numeric value; and receive from the authorization server a confirmation message confirming that the primary numeric value is not greater than the balance in a payment account associated with the identification number.
MULTI-SCREEN AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE (ATM)/AUTOMATED TELLER ASSIST (ATA) MACHINES FOR USE BY WHEELCHAIR USERS
An automated teller machine (ATM) including multiple user screens is provided. The ATM preferably includes an ATM processor, an ATM user information input device and/or an ATM receiver, a customer-facing ATM touch screen configured to display an initial ATM display, an ATM dispenser configured to dispense a cash withdrawal amount in the event that an ATM central processing unit (CPU) receives information relating to a selection of the cash withdrawal amount. The ATM may further include a second, customer-facing, touch screen configured to selectably display an automated teller assist (ATA) display configured to provide a video display of a live teller located at a remote location.
Augmented reality dynamic authentication
A system for performing authorization of a user in an augmented reality environment comprises an augmented reality user device, an automatic teller machine, and an authentication server. The automatic teller machine has a keypad with unmarked buttons. The augmented reality user device includes a display configured to overlay virtual objects onto a field of view of a user. The augmented reality user device receives a virtual keypad overlay, which assigns values to the unmarked buttons of the keypad. Using the overlay, the augmented reality user device displays the assigned values on the buttons of the keypad. The automatic teller machine detects an input sequence entered on the keypad and sends the input sequence to the authentication server. The authentication server determines an authentication code by combining the input sequence with the virtual keypad overlay, and compares the determined authentication code with an authentication code stored in a database.
Token processing with selective de-tokenization for proximity based access device interactions
A method includes providing an initial communication, by an access device to a user device. The access device can receive the user identifier and the access token and receive a secret associated with the user. The access device can determine, using the user identifier and/or the access token, if the transaction is authorized by an authorizing entity computer associated with the access device or by an authorizing entity not associated with the access device. If the transaction is authorized by the authorizing entity computer associated with the access device, the access device can transmit an authorization request message comprising the user identifier, the secret, and the access token to the authorizing entity computer. The authorizing entity computer validates the secret, retrieves a real credential of the user using the user identifier, and authorizes the transaction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING PAYMENTS TO THIRD PARTIES FOR A BUSINESS PROVIDING A PRODUCT OR SERVICE
An apparatus including a central system, a transaction processor, a database storing a set of business rules, and a point-of-sale computer system. The central system in operable communication with the transaction processor, the database, and the point-of-sale computer system. The central system is configured to receive a primary transaction data in response to a primary transaction being initiated between a first entity and a second entity. The second entity is associated with the point-of-sale computer system. The central system is configured to obtain from the primary transaction data at least one of: (i) a primary transaction value, (ii) one or more products purchased in the primary transaction, (iii) a location of purchase, and (iv) an account identifier and determine, based on the primary transaction data, a supplemental transaction value associated with a supplemental transaction based on a first business rule of the set of business rules stored in the database.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POINT OF SALE DEPOSITS
The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for executing a point of sale deposit. In one embodiment, a system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive transaction information related to a point of sale deposit from a client device, and generate a pending deposit transaction based on the transaction information. The one or more processors may be further configured to execute the software instructions to receive a first transaction token from the client device, receive a second transaction token from a third-party device, match the first transaction token to the second transaction token, and complete the pending deposit transaction based on the match.
