An information processing system for receiving a service using an electronic device, the information processing system includes an acquisition section configured to acquire a license key for using the service issued by a server system and a processing section. The license key includes setting information to be used when the electronic device uses the service. The processing section acquires the setting information included in the acquired license key and performs setting processing of the electronic device based on the acquired setting information.

Computer-based systems for protecting shipping information

This disclosure describes computer-based techniques for controlling access to shipping information for packages by providing limited shipping information to a courier to advance the package to a next node along a transit route. An administrator computer generates a set of components for a transit state of and information about the package. The set of components represents constituent tokenized portions of a delivery address, such as a sender or recipient name, street number, street name, city, or zip code. The transit states of the package represent various transit functions of the courier, such as pick-up, correct handling, sorting, delivery, return, and exception. The administrator computer generates sets of components that enable the courier to advance the package to a next node, but that exclude shipping information that may not be useful for advancing the package. The administrator computer sends the set of components to the courier based on the current transit state of the package.

A card for distributing media including any one or all of music, videos and movies said card include a main card body formed of two covers that snap or nestle together about its perimeter. One or more chips are nestled internally within the main card body and are configured to transmit information. A USB male connector is configured to pivot relative to the main card body so as to operate between a retracted position and an extended position. The USB male connector is coupled to a dongle configured to pivot about an axis relative to the main card body. The USB male connector includes executable instructions to communicate with a remote third party notifying the time and location of access to stored information.

Laser identification devices and methods

Methods and systems for identification of objects using a laser. Data for an application including transactional data associated with a user is accessed from a computerized database in a system. Systems and methods operate to select objects from an electronic display. In an example, these systems and methods operate to select objects from an electronic display using a handheld laser identification device. In an example, an electronic display is in communication with a database that updates the display of objects displayed on the electronic display.

Dynamic Number Authentication for Credit/Debit Cards

A method and apparatus for conducting a commercial transaction over the Internet or other network connection are provided. Random numbers, which are unique for each user session, are pre-loaded onto a handheld, portable device, or token. The random numbers are generated by external systems and delivered to the token for storage in an internal memory and to a database accessible by an authentication system. The random numbers are dispensed by the token to a user by pressing a button on the token or otherwise signaling the token. A dispensed number is cross referenced, by the authentication system, to the database. The dispensed number authenticates the user or transaction.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing a virtual chain model for distributed ledger technologies in a cloud based computing environment
20190236606 · 2019-08-01 ·

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing a virtual chain model for distributed ledger technologies in a cloud based computing environment are described herein. For example, according to one embodiment there is a system having at least a processor and a memory therein executing within a host organization and having therein: means for operating a blockchain interface to a blockchain on behalf of a plurality of tenants of the host organization, wherein each of the plurality of tenants are participating nodes with the blockchain; receiving a login request from a user device; authenticating the user device with the host organization; correlating the authenticated user device with a cryptographic ID for the blockchain corresponding to the authenticated user device; receiving a structured query from the user device to be executed against the blockchain, the structured query specifying a transaction command and a data object upon which the transaction command is to be performed; translating the transaction command of the structured query to native blockchain protocol code and translating the data object to a blockchain asset ID stored within the blockchain to form a native blockchain transaction; and executing the native blockchain transaction with the blockchain. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

Mobile device transaction systems and methods

A mobile device includes a processing circuit to perform operations including transmitting a device token and a customer token to a computing system, the device token identifying the mobile device and a first session of a client application, the customer token identifying a user. The operations can include enabling access to the client application during the first session based on the device token and the customer token and receiving a second device token, the second device token identifying the mobile device and a second session. The operations can include receiving, during the first session, an identification number associated with an account of the user for a transaction, the identification number generated in response to a fund request from the mobile device. The operations can include providing a user interface displayed on the mobile device during the first session and receiving during the first session, an approval for the transaction.

MOBILE DEVICE TRANSACTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A mobile device includes a processing circuit that is configured to perform operations including enabling access to a client application during a first session based on a first device token identifying the first session and the mobile device and a customer token identifying a user and receiving a second device token from the computing system during the first session. The second device token identifies the mobile device and a second session. The operations further include receiving, during the first session, an identifier from the computing system. The identifier is associated with the user and generated by the computing system in response to a request from the mobile device. The operations further include receiving, via the mobile device during the first session and based on a comparison of the received identifier with an existing identifier, an approval for the request.
