DATA MINING, INFLUENCING VIEWER SELECTIONS, AND USER INTERFACES
A narrative includes a number of serially connected narrative segments combined by a director or editor in a defined sequence to tell a story. A number of different narrative segments are available to the director or editor. A content delivery editor provides editors and directors with the ability to augment a narrative with additional narrative segments that provide alternate perspectives, views, or insights to the consumer. Such allows conveyance of the same narrative to the consumer using a number of plots or perspectives. Branch points in the narrative provide the consumer the opportunity to follow a storyline they find interesting. Each consumer follows a “personalized” path through the narrative. The director or editor may influence selection at branch points by providing priming stimuli prior to presentation of a prompt to select a branch and by optionally providing target stimuli during presentation of the prompt to select a branch.
METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR NOTIFYING OF SURROUNDING SITUATION INFORMATION
According to various embodiments, a method for notifying of surrounding situation information by an electronic device may comprise the operations of: monitoring a value indicating a movement of the electronic device; determining whether a state of the electronic device is a stopped state, on the basis of the value indicating a movement of the electronic device; and acquiring surrounding situation information of the electronic device, which will be notified of to a user, when the state of the electronic device is a stopped state; and outputting the surrounding situation information.
Intrusion security panel with remote assistance through simulated user interface
A security system includes a security panel operable to communicate with a support site via a lightweight binary-based protocol to echo a security panel user interface with the support site. A method of communicating with a security system including communicating with a support site via a lightweight binary-based protocol to echo a security panel user interface at the support site.
System for providing sound source reproduction information
The present invention relates to a system for providing sound source reproduction information and has an object to provide a system for providing sound source reproduction information, in which the sound source reproduction information is provided for each user in the order of their distance from each user, and a user selectively browses sound source information of other users reproduced in the vicinity thereof and generates a synchronization request signal for the sound source information, such that reproduction of the sound source may be synchronized between users without performing any settings with each other.
Optimization for distributing autonomous vehicles to perform scouting
Aspects of the disclosure relate to distributing vehicles to perform scouting. This may involve receiving a request for a scouting objective for a vehicle, and in response, identifying a set of scouting objectives that the vehicle is eligible to visit. Each scouting objective of the set is associated with one or more scouting quests, and each scouting quest is associated with a plurality of scouting objectives. For each given scouting objective in the set of scouting objectives, an overall weight may be determined using combined weights for the given scouting objective and any scouting quests with which the given scouting objective is associated. One or more scouting objectives of the set of scouting objectives may be selected using the determined overall weights. The one or more selected scouting objectives may be provided to the vehicle.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ANALYTIC BASED CONNECTIONS AMONG USER TYPES IN AN ONLINE PLATFORM
Introduced here are various embodiments for selectively assigning a query to an expert. A network-accessible server system may receive a query from a client device indicating a question or project proposal. The query text may be parsed and attributes of the query may be determined by inspecting the parsed query text. The query attributes may be compared with attributes associated with a pool of experts with various specialties and expertise in various fields. The network-accessible server system may match the query attributes with attributes associated with a first expert with a similarity that exceeds a threshold similarity level to identify that an expertise of the first expert matches the requested expertise in the query. The first expert may be assigned to the query and prompted to provide a response to the query.
ALCOHOL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND MANAGEMENT METHOD
An integrated management server comprising: a data formatting means for receiving sales record information from a plurality of distributor terminals of a plurality of distributors which are selling products to retailers; a data matching means for updating brand master information for universally managing alcoholic beverage brands sold to the retailers across the plurality of distributors based on each of the received sales record information; and a brand Identification means for analyzing image related information received from a user terminal, identifying an alcoholic beverage brand by comparing a feature information corresponding to an alcoholic beverage brand registered in the brand master information, and sending information related to identified alcoholic beverage brand to the user terminal; and the user terminal comprising: a display means for displaying information on the sent alcoholic beverage brand.
INFORMATION RECORDING MEDUIM DESTRUCTION DEVICE MANAGEMENT METHOD
A destruction device management method is provided that is capable of minimizing a risk that an information recording medium supposed to be disposed of as waste is taken out and distributed to a secondhand market and a risk that information leaks from the information recording medium.
In the present invention, a server device records personal identification information, destruction device identification information, and location information, received from a mobile terminal, in an information recording means. As a result, the server device can centrally manage information such as where the destruction device was located, which destruction device was used, and who performed the destruction work. That is, when the destruction of information recording medium is performed using the destruction device, the record is always stored in the server device. Therefore, the risk of information recording medium being taken outside by a malicious employee or the like can be suppressed because the information recording medium cannot be taken outside (under the false pretense that it has been destructed) without actually operating the destruction device at all.
PASSAGE PERMIT DEVICE, SYSTEM, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A passage permit device includes at least one memory storing instructions, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to execute the instructions to, acquire image data including a user's face image captured by a predetermined imaging device, cause an authentication device configured to store facial feature information about the user to perform face authentication on the image data, acquire, if the face authentication is successful, proof information about the user subjected to the face authentication from a storage device configured to store the proof information related to measures taken the user to prevent from being infected, determine whether or not to permit the user to pass based on the proof information associated with the user, output a result of the determination to a predetermined terminal device corresponding to the imaging device.
System and Method for Managing Product Usage from Dispensers
A system and method are provided for improving product usage prior to refill of product dispensers in service areas that include a plurality of such dispensers. Via a sensor configured with each of the product dispensers and a control system in communication with the sensors, a product level or amount condition of product in each dispenser is detected. Based on the information from the sensors, a visual or audio message is generated and transmitted to the patron that encourages the patron to use a first product dispenser that has a greater product fill amount as compared to a second product dispenser in the same or a different service area.
