Electrical power grid modeling

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for electric grid asset detection are enclosed. An electric grid asset detection method includes: obtaining overhead imagery of a geographic region that includes electric grid wires; identifying the electric grid wires within the overhead imagery; and generating a polyline graph of the identified electric grid wires. The method includes replacing curves in polylines within the polyline graph with a series of fixed lines and endpoints; identifying, based on characteristics of the fixed lines and endpoints, a location of a utility pole that supports the electric grid wires; detecting an electric grid asset from street level imagery at the location of the utility pole; and generating a representation of the electric grid asset for use in a model of the electric grid.

GENERATING A COMPLETE BOREHOLE IMAGE USING TRANSFORMATION

A system can receive downhole acquisition data relating to a wellbore. The system can pre-process the downhole acquisition data. The system can generate an incomplete borehole image using the downhole acquisition data. The system can determine a sparse representation based on the incomplete borehole image by performing an optimization with respect to the incomplete borehole image. The system can generate a complete borehole image based on an inverse of the sparse representation.

ICU Monitor With Medication Data

Systems and methods for remotely monitoring hospital patients are provided. Medical devices may capture biometric data associated with a patient positioned in an ICU environment, and a remote display device positioned external to the ICU environment may display an indication of the health of the patient based on the captured biometric data. The indication of the health of the patient may include a graph mapping normalized health statuses associated with the patient over time. Each normalized health status may be based on normalizing a particular type of biometric data based on a medical protocol, so each data point of the graph includes an indication of a normalized health status associated with the patient at a given time. The indication of the health of the patient may include an animated three-dimensional that is dynamically updated to reflect biometric data associated with the patient captured at a time selected by a user.

Friend location sharing mechanism for social media platforms

A server system for a map-based social media platform maintains user location information to enable the rendering of friend icons on a map at a corresponding display locations. The system maintains a per user access control list (ACL) that lists all users whose icons can be viewed by a requesting user. The ACL can include a designation of respective display granularity levels for different friend users.

Generating space models from map files

A map file includes two-dimensional or three-dimensional geometric data items collectively representing layout of a building. The map file is parsed and the geometric data items are analyzed to identify building elements including rooms, floors, and objects of the building, and to identify containment relationships between the elements. A space model having a space graph is constructed. The space graph includes nodes that correspond to the respective building elements and links forming relationships between nodes that correspond to the identified containment relationships. Each node may include node metadata, rules or code that operate on the metadata, and a node type that corresponds to a type of physical space. Some nodes may include user representations or device representations that represent physical sensors associated therewith. The representations may receive data from the respectively represented sensors, and the sensor data becomes available via the space model.

Interactive display of data distributions

A method includes displaying a first graphical representation on a screen. The first graphical representation includes a box-and-whisker plot of a dataset. The method also includes receiving a first interaction indication indicating a graphical user interaction by a user at a first interaction location on the first graphical representation. In response to the received first interactive indication, the method includes displaying a second graphical representation on the screen based on the first interaction indication, the second graphical representation including a density plot of the dataset having a respective scale equal to a corresponding scale of the box-and-whisker plot. The method also includes receiving a second interaction indication indicating the graphical user interaction by the user at a second interaction location on the second graphical representation, and in response, displaying an updated second graphical representation of the dataset on the screen based on the second interaction indication.

Interactive security visualization of network entity data

Security related anomalies in the data related to network entities are identified, and a risk score is assigned to each entity based on the anomalies. Visualization data is generated for a color-coded interactive visualization. Generating the visualization data includes assigning each entity to a separate polygon to be displayed concurrently on a display screen; selecting a size of each polygon to indicate one of: a number of security related anomalies associated with the entity, or a risk level assigned to the entity, where the risk level is based on the risk score of the entity, and selecting a color of each polygon to indicate the other one of: the number of security related anomalies associated with the entity, or the risk level assigned to the entity; and causing, the color-coded interactive visualization to be displayed on a display device based on the visualization data.

An information processing method includes displaying a graph on a display screen of a display, in response to a user operation of specifying at least part of the graph, displaying an icon corresponding to a numerical value which is associated with the at least part of the graph on the display screen, in response to a user operation of selecting the icon, as at least part of a mathematical expression to execute calculation using the numerical value which is associated with the icon selected, displaying the numerical value or a variable indicating the numerical value which is associated with the icon on the display screen.

Generating search commands based on cell selection within data tables

A search interface is displayed in a table format that includes one or more columns, each column including data items of an event attribute, the data items being of a set of events, and a plurality of rows forming cells with the one or more columns, each cell including one or more of the data items of the event attribute of a corresponding column. Based on a user selecting one or more of the cells, a list of options if displayed corresponding to the selection, and one or more commands are added to a search query that corresponds to the set of events, the one or more commands being based on at least an option that is selected from the list of options and the event attribute for each of the one or more of the data items of each of the selected one or more cells.

Interactive navigation environment for building performance visualization

A tool for providing a visualization of a system may reveal an interactive navigation environment for building performance observation and assessment. The tool may be associated with a processor. The environment may incorporate a treemap, a graph pane, a treemap filter, a graph pane selector, a selected units box and a date/time control mechanism. A visualization of the environment, among other things, may be presented on a display. The treemap may exhibit a building geometry and/or equipment units hierarchically, along with some data information. Units may be interactively selected from the treemap and placed in the box for analysis. The graph pane may show a configuration and display of unit analysis. Selection of detailed views for units in the box may be provided by the graph pane selector. Date and time intervals for analysis may be selected by the control mechanism.
