Customizable Extended Reality Patient Simulator and Method Thereof for Healthcare Education
An educational system and method to provide various extended reality environments that are easily adaptable to a user's educational needs. The system includes a controller, a display, one or more sensors, a feedback unit and a rapid case creation tool. The rapid case creation tool is formed on the display to provide a graphical representation of at least a portion of the executable program elements to the user for manipulation in order to create and customize logic for a particular case or related learning, training or educational experience. In one form, the rapid case creation tool includes a case data module and a case logic module cooperative with one another such that upon manipulation by the user of at least a portion of the graphical representation of the executable program elements, the system performs at least one of creation, modification and operation of an extended reality patient case.
Generating Computer Augmented Maps from Physical Maps
A method by a computing device obtains a digital image of a physical map, identifies features in the digital image, and obtains map augmentation information based on the identified features. The method then generates an augmented map based on the map augmentation information, and provides the augmented map for display. Related mobile devices and computer program products are disclosed.
VR-Based Treatment System and Method
An XR-based system (virtual reality, augmented reality, or mixed reality system), is provided to visualize and resolve at least one condition of a subject. A dynamic virtual representation of the subject's body is generated based on the captured physical traits and movement of the subject's body is captured by at least one motion tracking device, and rendered in the extended reality environment. The dynamic virtual representation is synchronized with the movement of the body of the subject, generating a virtual representation of at least one condition of the subject in response to one or more inputs, overlaying or rendering the virtual representation of the condition of the subject on the virtual representation of the body of the subject, and receiving and processing one or more inputs representing one or more attributes of the condition to adjust the virtual representation of the condition of the subject in the extended reality environment.
OBTAINING AND AUGMENTING AGRICULTURAL DATA AND GENERATING AN AUGMENTED DISPLAY SHOWING ANOMALIES
A geographic position of an agricultural machine is captured. Agricultural data is received that corresponds to a geographic position. Georeferenced visual indicia are displayed that are indicative of the received agricultural data.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LATENCY REDUCTION OF AN IMAGE PROCESSING PIPELINE
In some implementations, a method includes: determining a complexity value for first image data associated with of a physical environment that corresponds to a first time period; determining an estimated composite setup time based on the complexity value for the first image data and virtual content for compositing with the first image data; in accordance with a determination that the estimated composite setup time exceeds the threshold time: forgoing rendering the virtual content from the perspective that corresponds to the camera pose of the device relative to the physical environment during the first time period; and compositing a previous render of the virtual content for a previous time period with the first image data to generate the graphical environment for the first time period.
Audio Processing Methods and Systems for a Multizone Augmented Reality Space
An illustrative audio processing system identifies an experience location with which an augmented reality presentation device is associated. The experience location is included within a multizone augmented reality space that is presented by the augmented reality presentation device. The audio processing system determines that the experience location is within both a first sound zone and a second sound zone of the multizone augmented reality space, and, based on the determining that the experience location is within both the first and second sound zones, generates a binaural audio stream for presentation by the augmented reality presentation device. The binaural audio stream includes an environmental audio component implemented by a mix of a first environmental audio stream associated with the first sound zone and a second environmental audio stream associated with the second sound zone. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.
VISUAL REALITY SHOPPING APPLICATION
This application relates to systems, methods, devices, and other techniques for utilizing visual reality shopping experience for users.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING VIRTUAL PSEUDO 3D OUTPUTS FROM IMAGES
A method for generating virtual pseudo three dimensional 360 degree outputs from 2D images of an object 102 is provided. An image viewer plane of the object 102 in the 3D image to be rendered on a user device 108 is detected using an augmented reality technique. An image viewer plane is placed facing the user device 108 rendering ‘Image 0’ and movement coordinates of the user device 108 with respect to the image viewer plane is detected to calculate the virtual pseudo 3D image set to be displayed based on at least one angle of view by performing interpolation between two consecutive virtual pseudo 3D images. The image viewer plane is changed with respect to the movement of the user device 108 to change the virtual pseudo 3D image and the interpolated virtual pseudo 3D image on the plane and that image is displayed as an augmented reality object in real-time to the user device 108.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DETERMINING VERIFICATION INFORMATION RELATED TO VIRTUAL CARDS
Disclosed are systems and methods for utilizing virtual reality for virtual cards. For example, a method of determining verification information may include: obtaining an image of a merchant site of a merchant captured by at least one camera of a first computing device, wherein the merchant site is displayed on a display of a second computing device; identifying one or more characters in the captured image; determining that the identified one or more characters indicate a virtual credit card number associated with a user; determining a card verification value associated with the virtual credit card number and an expiration date associated with the virtual credit card number; and displaying information regarding the determined virtual credit card number on a display of the first computing device.
AUGMENTED REALITY GUIDANCE OVERLAP
Embodiments of the present invention provide computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems. Embodiments of the present invention can, in response to receiving a request, identify a core component from source material based on topic analysis. Embodiments of the present invention can then generate three-dimensional representations of physical core components associated with the request. Finally, embodiments of the present invention then render the generated three-dimensional representations of the physical core components over the physical core components.
