SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIAGNOSING OPERATIONAL ISSUES IN A RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a method for diagnosing an operational issue in a respiratory therapy system. A command is received, via an external device, to begin diagnosing the operational issue in the respiratory therapy system. One or more sensors of the external device are caused to generate acoustic data, which is indicative of one or more sounds emanating from the respiratory therapy system. At least a portion of the generated acoustic data is analyzed to identify (i) a location of the operational issue in the respiratory therapy system, (ii) one or more causes of the operational issue in the respiratory therapy system, or (iii) both (i) and (ii).
Escape detection and mitigation for aquaculture
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for escape detection and mitigation for aquaculture. In some implementations, a method includes obtaining one or more images that depict one or more fish within an enclosure; generating, as a result of providing the one or more images to multiple detection models, a value that reflects a quantity of fish that are depicted in the images that are likely a member of each different type of fish; detecting an error condition relating to a possible opening of the enclosure based at least on the value; and in response to detecting the error condition relating to the possible opening of the enclosure, initiating one or more mitigation actions relating to the possible opening.
Attached substance detection device and attached substance detection method
An attached substance detection device according to an embodiment includes a calculation unit and a determination unit. The calculation unit calculates a score of a divided region that is provided by dividing a predetermined target region, based on an edge intensity in each pixel region of a captured image that is captured by an image-capturing device. The determination unit determines whether or not the target region is an attached substance region where an attached substance is attached to a lens of the image-capturing device, based on the score that is calculated by the calculation unit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUGMENTED REALITY AVIATION INTERFACES
An augmented reality (AR) system for aviation generates aviation objects over an image during flight. The AR system may determine a location and an orientation of the image capture device based on the location information and orientation information. The AR system may determine a field of view of the image capture device and identify aviation objects within the field of view. The AR system can then generate graphical user interface elements for identified aviation objects to be overlayed on the image data.
STICKER WITH USER-EDITED IMAGE PRINTED THEREON AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A method for providing an augmented reality service using an AR sticker comprises: a step where a mobile terminal requests, from a server, an AR sticker template enabling a user to edit an AR sticker, and the server transmits the AR sticker template; a step where the mobile terminal directly edits the AR sticker image using the AR sticker template and creates AR content corresponding to the AR sticker image; a step where the server receives the AR sticker image and the AR content from the mobile terminal and stores same in an AR database, and creates an AR sticker including the AR sticker image and the AR content; a step where the mobile terminal receives the AR sticker, transmits the AR sticker to a printer, and requests printing of the AR sticker; and a step where the printer prints the AR sticker and conveys the printed AR sticker.
Multi-purpose smart rice cookers
A rice cooker assembly uses machine learning models to identify and classify different types of food stored. The rice cooker has a chamber including different compartments for storing different types of food. A camera is positioned to view an interior of the chamber. The camera captures images of the contents of the chamber. From the images, the machine learning model classifies the different types of food stored. The rice cooker determines a mixture of different types of food based on nutrition value and/or taste. The rice cooker creates the mixture and controls the cooking process accordingly. The one or more machine learning models may be resident in the rice cooker or it may be accessed via a network.

A METHOD FOR DETERMINING A POSTURAL AND VISUAL BEHAVIOR OF A PERSON
A method for determining a postural and visual behavior of a person, the method comprising:a person image receiving step during which a plurality of images of the person are received,a context determining step during which the plurality of images of the person are analyzed so as to determine context data representative of the context in which the person is on each image of the plurality of images,an analyzing step during which the plurality of images of the person are analyzed so as to determine at least one oculomotor parameter of the person,a postural and visual behavior determining step during which a postural and visual behavior of the person is determined based at least on the at least one oculomotor parameter and the context data.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR UTILIZING A BRAIN FEATURE ACTIVITY MAP DATABASE TO CHARACTERIZE CONTENT
A computer implemented method includes supplying stimuli to an organism, measuring brain activity of the organism responsive to the stimuli and producing a brain feature activity map characterizing the brain activity. The operations of supplying, measuring and producing are repeated for different stimuli to form a brain feature activity map database. New stimuli are received. New stimuli features are mapped to a projected brain activity map. The projected brain activity map is compared to the brain feature activity map database to identify similarities and dissimilarities between the projected brain activity map and entries in the brain feature activity map database to designate a match. The new stimuli are characterized based upon the match.
