System and method for estimating vascular flow using CT imaging

A system and method for estimating vascular flow using CT imaging include a computer readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program comprising instructions, which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to acquire a first set of data comprising anatomical information of an imaging subject, the anatomical information comprises information of at least one vessel. The instructions further cause the computer to process the anatomical information to generate an image volume comprising the at least one vessel, generate hemodynamic information based on the image volume, and acquire a second set of data of the imaging subject. The computer is also caused to generate an image comprising the hemodynamic information in combination with a visualization based on the second set of data.

Information processing apparatus, control method and program

An information processing apparatus (2000) detects an abnormal region (30) from a predetermined range (16) of a video frame (14). The information processing apparatus (2000) determines whether a predetermined condition is satisfied in a case where the abnormal region (30) is detected from the predetermined range (16) of a certain video frame (14) and the abnormal region (30) is not detected from the predetermined range (16) of a predetermined video frame (14) generated later than the video frame (14). In a case where the predetermined condition is not satisfied, the information processing apparatus (2000) performs a predetermined notification.

Method and system for estimating crop coefficient and evapotranspiration of crops based on remote sensing

Methods and systems estimate crop coefficients of a crop. At least one image sensor system captures a plurality of multispectral images of the crop and image data is derived from the multispectral images. At least one vegetation index of the crop is determined based on image data in at least a first spectral band. The reflectance of the crop monotonically increases and reaches a reflectance of at least 20% for at least one wavelength in the first spectral band. A crop coefficient of the crop is estimated based on the determined at least one vegetation index.

Methods and apparatuses for asynchronously identifying and modeling a gingiva strip from the three-dimensional (3D) dental model of the patient's dentition. These methods may reduce the time required to generate accurate 3D dental models and therefore may reduce and streamline the process of generating dental treatment plans.

RECIST assessment of tumour progression

The present invention relates to a method and system that automatically finds, segments and measures lesions in medical images following the Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumours (RECIST) protocol. More particularly, the present invention produces an augmented version of an input computed tomography (CT) scan with an added image mask for the segmentations, 3D volumetric masks and models, measurements in 2D and 3D and statistical change analyses across scans taken at different time points. According to a first aspect, there is provided a method for determining volumetric properties of one or more lesions in medical images comprising the following steps: receiving image data; determining one or more locations of one or more lesions in the image data; creating an image segmentation (i.e. mask or contour) comprising the determined one or more locations of the one or more lesions in the image data and using the image segmentation to determine a volumetric property of the lesion.

The invention relates to a method for determining the spatial development of tumor tissue, by acquiring patient medical image data describing sequences of patient medical images of tumors in parts of patient bodies, wherein the patient medical images of each sequence have been taken at subsequent points in time and each sequence has been taken tier a different patient; determining, by additively fusing subsequent patient medical images of each sequence to one another, patient spatial development data describing the spatial development of a tumor in each patient body; acquiring atlas data describing an atlas representation of the parts of patient bodies; determining, based on the atlas data and the patient development data, development probability data describing a probability for a spatial development of a tumor.

ITERATIVE DIGITAL SUBTRACTION IMAGING FRO EMOBLIZATION PROCEDURES

Method and related system (IPS) for visualizing in particular a volume of a substance during its deposition at a region of interest (ROI). A difference image is formed from a projection image and a mask image. The difference image is then analyzed to derive more accurate motion information about a motion or shape of the substance. The method or system (IPS) is capable of operating in an iterative manner. The proposed system and method can be used for processing fluoroscopic X-ray frame acquired by an imaging arrangement (100) during an embolization procedure.

Variable exposure portable perfusion monitor

A method of imaging a target includes acquiring, by a processor of an imaging apparatus, multiple images of the target, wherein the multiple images have different exposure values; determining temporal and/or spatial variances for images with different exposure values; and generating a perfusion image of the target using results of the determining operation.

MEASURING AND MONITORING SKIN FEATURE COLORS, FORM AND SIZE

Kits, diagnostic systems and methods are provided, which measure the distribution of colors of skin features by comparison to calibrated colors which are co-imaged with the skin feature. The colors on the calibration template (calibrator) are selected to represent the expected range of feature colors under various illumination and capturing conditions. The calibrator may also comprise features with different forms and size for calibrating geometric parameters of the skin features in the captured images. Measurements may be enhanced by monitoring over time changes in the distribution of colors, by measuring two and three dimensional geometrical parameters of the skin feature and by associating the data with medical diagnostic parameters. Thus, simple means for skin diagnosis and monitoring are provided which simplify and improve current dermatologic diagnostic procedures.
