Embodiments described herein relate to systems, methods and devices for monitoring table activities at gaming tables in casinos and other gaming establishments. For example, embodiments described herein relate to systems, methods and devices for monitoring card game activities at gaming tables and transfers of chips between one or more players and a dealer. Embodiments described herein may include devices and systems particularly configured to monitor table activities that include betting activities and the transfer of chips (e.g. between a player and a dealer, or between a first player and a second player) at gaming tables to determine bet data including a number of chips in a betting area of the gaming table, a total value of chips in the betting area, the number of chips in a chip tray, a total value of chips in the chip tray, and so on.
Sensor-Based Privacy-Event Detection for a Mounted Electronic Device
Sensor-based privacy-event detection for a mounted electronic device is described. In aspects, a security system includes a head assembly removably and magnetically coupled to a mounting device having a magnet. The electronic device also includes a camera module and a sensor disposed within the housing. The sensor detects a magnetic field associated with the magnet when the head assembly is coupled to the mounting device. When a user detaches the head assembly from the mounting device (e.g., to recharge the electronic device), the sensor no longer detects the magnetic field and determines the occurrence of a privacy event, which is used to deactivate the camera module to prevent unintentional recordings during the privacy event.
Versatile Video Surveillance and Alarm Signaling Assembly
A versatile video surveillance and alarm signaling assembly may include a vertical post, and a first surveillance camera may be coupled to the vertical post, the first surveillance camera having a first camera lens. A second surveillance camera may also be coupled to the vertical post, the second surveillance camera having a second camera lens, in which the first camera lens and second camera lens may be angled between 75 and 200 degrees relative to each other. Preferably, the assembly may include one or more of a mailbox, postal address number, and/or a signage that may be coupled directly or indirectly to the vertical post.
Movable image recording device and vehicle provided with such device
Image recording device provided with a fixed part for at least partial inclusion in and/or on the body of a motor vehicle, and a movable part which comprises at least one optical element, the optical element comprising at least one optical sensor and/or a lens unit, and an adjustment device provided with a power source, for adjusting the movable part between a first position and a second position, wherein during use in the first position the movable part is wholly or partly included in the body, and in the second position the movable part extends at an angle with respect to the body, such that at least the optical element carried by the movable part extends at least partly outside the body, wherein the movable part pivots from the second position about a, preferably substantially vertical, axis to the first position and vice versa.
Elevated equipment installation apparatus
Described, herein, is an installation apparatus and method which may permit the safe and rapid mounting of an electrical device (e.g., a Wi-Fi access point or a surveillance camera) onto an elevated support surface (e.g., a wall, a post, or a ceiling). Accordingly, the installation apparatus may include a housing, a mount, and an elongated handle. During use, the mount may be configured to be affixed to the elevated support surface. Additionally, the elongated handle may be configured to selectively couple to the housing enabling a user to lift the housing to the mount on the elevated support surface. Subsequent to the user lifting the housing to the mount, the housing may be configured to selectively couple to the housing, securing the housing to the mount.
Modular camera mounts usable with security camera applications
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to camera mounts interoperable with cameras mountable in a wide variety of different environments. The camera mount may include a bracket, wherein the bracket may be configured to be secured to a mounting surface. The bracket may be comprised of an adapter plate interoperable with a wall switch plate, wherein the wall switch plate secures to the mounting surface. The adapter plate may include a first plurality of mounting holes configured to align with a second plurality of mounting holes positioned within the wall switch plate. The mount may further include an angled portion that includes a second cable route opening and a plurality of mounting provisions that may be configured to align with the mounting holes and a first cable route opening of the adapter plate. The angled portion may further include a camera mounting surface configured to interoperate with the adjusting portion.
Device Mounting Apparatus
A device mounting apparatus that allows a device such as a smoke detector or carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) detector, as well as other device including an alarm, a camera or a light to be selectively positioning at a location on a surface such as a wall. The apparatus comprises a preferably rectangular, hollow rod with rounded corners, and having a first end, second end, and outer surfaces. A device securing bracket that facilitates the attachment of a device to the rod includes a center section with a rod opening, a first side member and second side member, with each member having an angled section and at least one bore. An apparatus to surface securing bracket allows the apparatus to be attached to a surface such as a wall and has a center section with an outward extending first and second side wall, each side wall having a semi-circular segment, with the rod inserted through the space created when the two segments face each other. The apparatus to surface securing bracket also has a rear section with at least one bore through which a screw or other attachment means is inserted. From exiting the bore, the screw enters into the surface/wall, thereby attaching the apparatus to the surface. To maintain the device attached to the device securing bracket, a device mounting pan is utilized. The pan has a rear panel with at least one bore, a center opening for a power wire and a side wall extending outward from the rear panel's perimeter.
Hot Pluggable Electrical Device Assembly
A camera includes a base configured for mounting to a support structure. The base includes a first connecting structure. A camera unit is configured for releaseable attachment with the base. The camera unit comprising second connecting structure configured for releasable connection with the first connecting structure to releaseably secure the camera unit to the base.
Method and system for user feedback in a motion constrained image stabilization system
The disclosure describes systems and methods for a stabilization mechanism. The stabilization mechanism may be used in conjunction with an imaging device. The method may be performed by a control system of the stabilization mechanism and includes obtaining a device setting from an imaging device. The method may also include obtaining a configuration of the stabilization mechanism. The method includes determining a soft stop based on the device setting, the configuration, or both. The soft stop may be a virtual hard stop that indicates to the stabilization mechanism to reduce speed as a field of view of the imaging device approaches the soft stop. The method may also include setting an image stabilization mechanism parameter based on the determined soft stop.
