ROAD-TRAFFIC WARNING SYSTEM FOR INCREASED USER SAFETY
An adjustable assembly for road transport system is provided. The assembly has multiple units of which the user may select the units suitable for use with his/her bodyless vehicle, e.g. motorcycle having electronic control system of its own, or for bicycle that does not have electronic control system. Depending on the selection of units the system will either duplicate light signals of the vehicle or show alternative light signals.
EMERGENCY IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
An emergency identification system includes a plurality of identification holders which hold vests which are made to be deployed during an emergency in order to identify designated authority figures who may lead or provide instructions during the emergency. The vests may be color-coded so as to readily identify the designated authority figures and the vests may be stored in such a manner that the vests are inaccessible to potential bad actors so as to prevent them from imitating the vests during an active shooter or other terrorist event.
PACK FRAME ILLUMINATED WITH WIRELESS VEHICLE SIGNALING SYSTEM AND HAVING DETACHABLE ACCESSORY PACKS
A pack frame for vehicle riders or users on foot forms an X-shaped shell securing different types of detachable accessory packs between the frame and the rider. The detachable accessory packs are secured to the X-shaped frame with cam and collar mechanisms. The detachable accessory packs include a daypack, weekend pack, hydropack, and skatepack, for example. In an implementation, the pack frame forming the X-shaped shell is illuminated by signal lights and a wireless system to mirror traffic signaling of the user's vehicle, such as a motorcycle. The signal lights of the pack frame are adjustable and user-mappable to the vehicle's signaling via a mobile application. A curved and X-shaped brake light on the frame makes the rider of a motorcycle visible from many different viewpoints around the rider.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MOBILE PERSONAL VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS DISPLAY
A wearable visual communications unit for automatically presenting information visually to third parties, the visual communication unit including a visual display, a microprocessor, a memory unit, a location tracker module in communication with the microprocessor, and a command signal generating unit in communication with the visual display, where the location tracker module is configured to track location of the wearable visual communication unit and is configured to generate location based data, where the micro-processor is operable to receive the location based data and to execute code stored in the memory unit to select a required visual presentation, and where the command signal generating unit is configured to generate at least one command signal to control the visual display to present the required visual presentation.
Illuminated Safety Vest with Integrated LED Lights
An illuminated safety garment to improve the visibility of a wearer, such as a public service worker, in low-light conditions. The safety garment features an integrated LED light system that is electrically connected to a power source, and that ensure that the wearer is visible to third parties from a 360 degree vantage point. The LED light system may be hardwired or in wireless communication with an individualized or central controller that enables the user to control multiple aspects or features of the LED light system, as well as those of a number of other accessories such as an audible system, locator system, etc. Use of the illuminated safety garment offers a way to prevent serious accidents and injuries due to low visibility of, for example, public service workers.
WEARABLE VISIBILITY SYSTEM
The present technology is directed to wearable visibility systems that can comprises a base strap, a light assembly carried directly or indirectly to the base strap, and a power source container carried by the base strap. The base strap has a front portion, a rear portion, and a shoulder portion between the front portion and the rear portion. The base strap is flexible and configured such that the shoulder portion is configured to conform to a shoulder of a person. The light assembly includes one or more light sources and is configured to extend along at least a portion of each of the front portion and rear portion of the base strap. The power source container is electrically coupled to the light assembly.
Pedestrian reflective kit
A pedestrian reflective kit includes a waist belt that is wearable around a user's waist. The waist belt is extended through the sleeve and the sleeve is comprised of a light reflecting material to enhance visibility of the user in a darkened environment. A head band is wearable around the user's head. A pair of arm sleeves is provided and each of the arm sleeves is wearable around a respective one of the user's arms. Each of the arm sleeves is comprised of a light reflecting material to enhance visibility of the user in the darkened environment. A pair of ankle bracelets is each of the ankle bracelets is wearable around a respective one of the user's ankles. Each of the ankle bracelets is comprised of a light reflecting material to enhance visibility of the user in the darkened environment.
Looms for inclusion within items of clothing
Light emitting devices attached to an item of clothing are illuminated. The light emitting devices are attached to a loom that is terminated by an interface circuit that includes a data storage device (102). Configuration data (1703) is written to the data storage device and the loom is located within an item of clothing. A control unit (1502) is connected to the interface circuit and is configured to supply power and control data to the light emitting devices. Configuration data (1805) from the data storage device is transferred to the control unit, such that the control unit supplies control data to light emitting devices in a form determined by this configuration data.
Nighttime hand signal system and methods of use thereof
A nighttime hand signal system, having primarily a glove or fingerless glove having a backside, one or more infrared (IR) reflective material patterns affixed to the backside of the glove, an infrared (IR) light source, a night vision optical viewer, and thus functions to have the glove used by forward personnel in a police or military unit to provide a variety of hand signal communications to rear personnel using night vision optical viewer, as well as identify friend verse enemy personnel.
