Systems and methods for improved operations of ski lifts
Systems and methods for improved operations of ski lifts increase skier safety at on-boarding and off-boarding locations by providing an always-on, always-alert system that “watches” these locations, identifies developing problem situations, and initiates mitigation actions. One or more video cameras feed live video to a video processing module. The video processing module feeds resulting sequences of images to an artificial intelligence (AI) engine. The AI engine makes an inference regarding existence of a potential problem situation based on the sequence of images. This inference is fed to an inference processing module, which determines if the inference processing module should send an alert or interact with the lift motor controller to slow or stop the lift.
Tracking Tags
An apparatus, method and computer program is described including: detecting a tracking tag in proximity of a user device (the tracking tag not being pre-associated with the user device); responsive to the detection (and while the tracking tag remains in proximity of the user device): identifying one or more contextual parameters associated with the tracking tag; and responsive to determining that the identified one or more contextual parameters meet a predetermined criterion or criteria, issuing or causing issuance of an alert to the user device and/or to the tracking tag.

PORTABLE STORAGE CONTAINER
A portable storage container that is constructed so as to provide a first technique and a second technique to access the interior volume. The portable storage container of the present invention includes a base platform having a housing that is superposed the base platform and operable to be removed therefrom. The base platform includes apertures that are configured to align with mounting pins of the housing. The base platform includes wheel assemblies that are configured to assist in movement of the assembled portable storage container. A pair of lifting members are secured to the top of the housing and are configured to operably engage with forklift tongues so as to provide removal of the housing from the base platform. A door is provided on one end of the housing wherein the door provides an alternate technique to access the interior volume in addition to the lifting of the housing.
Intelligent electronic footwear and logic for navigation assistance by automated tactile, audio, and visual feedback
Presented are intelligent electronic footwear and apparel with controller-automated features, methods for making/operating such footwear and apparel, and control systems for executing automated features of such footwear and apparel. A method for operating an intelligent electronic shoe (IES) includes receiving, e.g., via a controller through a wireless communications device from a GPS satellite service, location data of a user. The controller also receives, e.g., from a backend server-class computer or other remote computing node, location data for a target object or site, such as a virtual shoe hidden at a virtual spot. The controller retrieves or predicts path plan data including a derived route for traversing from the user's location to the target's location within a geographic area. The controller then transmits command signals to a navigation alert system mounted to the IES's shoe structure to output visual, audio, and/or tactile cues that guide the user along the derived route.

Method for resetting life diagnosis alarm of a contact of a contactor
The present disclosure relates to a method for resetting life diagnosis alarm of a contact of a contactor, including the following steps: Step A: detecting a reset signal by a microcontrol unit; Step B: when the microcontrol unit has detected the reset signal, checking the state of the diagnosis alarm through the microcontrol unit; and when the diagnosis alarm is in an active state, the microcontrol unit: Step C: controlling the indicator to give a first indication signal for confirming a reset operation of the diagnosis alarm; Step D: resetting life diagnosis data; Step E: controlling the opening and closing of the contact of the contactor through an actuator.
Social distancing device, system and method
A social distancing system that addresses maintaining a minimum social distance of 6 ft during a pandemic by using social distancing devices that determine the distance between devices and generate alarms when the minimum social distance is violated.

Presence detection and notification system
A system and a method for presence detection and notification. The system includes a a first unit including a first sensor and a first visual alert, and a second unit including a second sensor and a second visual alert. The first unit is constructed to send a signal to the second unit to trigger the second visual alert, when the first sensor detects a presence. The second unit is constructed to send a signal to the first unit to trigger the first visual alert, when the second sensor detects a presence. The first and second visual alerts are constructed to be triggered independently of one another.
