METHOD FOR MEMORIZING FOREIGN WORDS
The invention relates to methods for memorizing words in a foreign language. A method provides for the rendition of a foreign song and the synchronous presentation of textual subtitles on a display. The subtitles are produced on the display in the form blocks (1) arranged one below the other, each of which contains a fragment of the lyrics to the song and consists of three separate lines: the line (2) of the text of the song in a foreign language, the line (3) of the text of the translation into the native language and the line (4) of the pronunciation of the words to the foreign song in the characters of the native language alphabet, which corresponds to the middle line of the block (1). The block (1) is divided into columns (5), in each of which one word or phrase of the line (2) of text of the song in the foreign language.
System and Method for Teaching a Student How to Write using a Plurality of Charts
A system and method of teaching a user how to write using a plurality of chart is described herein. The method can comprise the step of communicating a word to a student in any manner other than a written form of the word. The spoken word of the word can comprise a set of phonemes in an order such that when the set of phonemes is spoken, the set of phonemes form the spoken word. The method can also comprise the step of prompting the student to encode each phoneme of the set of phonemes with a grapheme, receiving first selections of the graphemes to form a set of graphemes in the order, and displaying in the order the graphemes that can be associated with the first selections. The set of graphemes can form an unconventional spelling of the word.
Rotatable Language Demonstration Device
A rotatable language demonstration device is an apparatus that is used to teach languages easily and efficiently in a dynamic and engaging manner to accommodate different learning styles of the students. The apparatus may include at least one demonstration mechanism, a plurality of display tiles, and an elongated frame. The at least one demonstration mechanism provides multiple surfaces for the user to write on without having to erase and rewrite the already written content. The plurality of display tiles enables the quick editing of the written content on the at least one demonstration mechanism. The elongated frame supports the at least one demonstration mechanism in an upright orientation so that the writable surfaces of the at least one demonstration mechanism are easily reachable by the user. The at least one demonstration mechanism includes a plurality of turnable wheels that enables the easy rearrangement of the writable surfaces.

Guided Operation of a Language-Learning Device Based on Learned User Memory Characteristics
A personal electronic device is adapted to construct data tables from user input received over time relating to translations of translatable items from a first language to a second language. Entries in a data table for a user are dynamic and may indicate likelihoods of the user correctly translating translatable items as a function of time. Each translatable item may have a different time-dependent likelihood of a correct translation. Operation of the personal electronic device for a user may be based in part on the acquired, time-dependent likelihoods for that user, so that information may be presented to the user in a more efficient manner.
A RUBIK'S CUBE OF CHINESE CHARACTERS
The present invention discloses a Rubik's cube of Chinese characters that comprises a 3D dictionary. The initials are vertically arranged and the finals are horizontally arranged on the front of the 3D dictionary. A character cell is opened at the intersection of each initial and final. A character rod is arranged in each character cell. The phonetic combination corresponding the initial and final is marked on the top of the character rod, forming a list of onomatopoeic or homophonous characters. A number of sound cells are arranged on the front of the 3D dictionary, and a sound rod is placed in each sound cell. A holding groove is cut on the front of the 3D dictionary, and a printer is placed in the holding groove. The present invention uses the movable-type monosyllabic Chinese characters to form a 3D dictionary by changing the existing linear arrangement in an alphabetical order to vertical initial and horizontal final arrangement, which can help learners look up, recognize and learn Chinese characters quickly according to phonetic rules. In addition, each Chinese character corresponds to an English word, which is conducive to bilingual learning, and is also convenient for use and storage.

READING SYSTEM WITH CODED WORDS AND HAND/FINGER SIGNS
Teaching reading to a student can include word cards and charts. The word cards can include coded words that have corresponding codes located adjacent to letters of the word based on pronunciation of the words. Different hand/finger signs can correspond to the different codes. A student can learn how the different codes are applied to different words. The student can also learn the hand/finger signs for each code. An instructor can begin by sounding out different words to demonstrate the different codes and the proper hand/finger signs that correspond to the different codes. The student can then sound out the same word or different word using the hand/finger signs for the codes for each word. Feedback can be given to the reader based on pronunciation and whether the student used the correct hand/finger signs.
Metallized breathable composite fabric
A composite fabric includes a lining layer and a metallized membrane. The metallized membrane includes a polymer layer having polyurethane and nano/micro metal particles embedded in the polymer layer. The nano/micro metal particles are about 10-50 wt % inclusive of the metallized membrane. The lining layer is connected to the metallized membrane via point contacts.
