Split flap display
A split flap display is provided. The display includes a wall frame mounted on a wall. The wall frame includes a plurality of panel guides extending outwardly therefrom, a breakout board mounted thereon, and a plurality of cantilevered snap locks extending outwardly therefrom. An array of carousel modules is mounted in a cabinet. The array includes a single row and a plurality of columns. The cabinet includes a locking slot adapted to releasably receive a free end of one of the plurality of cantilevered snap locks and a slide lock configured for longitudinal translation engagement with the free end of one of the plurality of cantilevered snap locks, such that translation of the slide lock displaces the free end of the cantilevered snap lock out of engagement with the locking slot. When the free end of the cantilevered snap lock is out of engagement with the locking slot, the array can be removed from the wall frame.
LATCH FOR MOUNT AND DISMOUNT OF A MODULAR HOUSING
A latching apparatus for mounting and dismounting a housing, such as a modular split flap housing for display, that releasably secures a plug-in modular unit against a corresponding back plate including latches for fastening and securing to a stationary panel and a sliding member that is slidable from a first unlocked offset position to a second locked offset position provided to stabilize the plug-in modular unit against a surface of the back plate.

Display device and control method thereof
A display device includes a plurality of display modules provided to output visual information, having a bar shape, and sequentially disposed in one direction, a connection unit connecting the plurality of display modules such that the plurality of display modules are relatively moved, and a controller controlling the connection unit to relatively move the plurality of display modules to adjust daylighting using a space between the plurality of display modules.

Circumferential laser dynamic display device
The invention discloses a circumferential laser dynamic display device, including an inner frame, having an inner frame pattern with multiframe microstructures made on surface; a sheet metal part, at least provided with first and second through holes, wherein the inner frame pattern is directly irradiated by a first beam of laser through the first through hole and by a second beam of laser through the second through hole; and a rotating shaft, with one end fixedly connected with a driving shaft, and the other end rotatably connected with the inner frame pattern. The rotating shaft can drive the inner frame pattern to do translational movement when rotating; wherein the translational movement of the inner frame enables the inner frame pattern to do circumferential movement relative to laser. The dynamic display device disclosed by the invention has simple structure, reasonable design and low production cost, and achieves circumferential dynamic image display.

MODULAR SPLIT AND/OR FLAP DISPLAYS AND ASSOCIATED INTERFACES AND COMMUNICATIONS
Methods, devices, and split flap wheel apparatuses that can display alphanumeric characters, messages, and graphics are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a split flap wheel apparatus, comprising: a housing adapted to rotate about a center axis; flaps hingeably coupled, via hinges, to the housing that rotate externally to the housing with rotation of the housing; and a motor disposed within the housing that drives the rotation of the housing. One or more embodiments described herein can comprise a device comprising: a housing with at least one opening; a wheel within the housing; a group of hinged flaps affixed to an outside surface of the wheel along a circumference of the wheel; and a motor disposed within the wheel that operates to spin the wheel by the fixed amount of angular rotation.
