PORTABLE, SELF-ILLUMINATING TRAFFIC SIGN

A portable, self-illuminating traffic sign having a sign face with two opposite sides. One side indicates a first traffic signal, and the other side indicates a second traffic signal. Light assemblies are attached to each side of the sign. The light assemblies emit light that may match the predominant color of one of the sides of the sign. A battery may be disposed in a pole that connects to the sign. A handlegrip allows for the sign to be held and provides a switch to allow for the lights to be selectively turned on and off. The light assemblies are disposed within collar assemblies so as to reduce, or prevent, light emitted from the light assemblies reflecting off of the sign faces.

Sign cover

A sign cover includes a first portion fixed at a top side thereof with a top side of a second portion. Peripheral edges of the portions extend past a peripheral edge of a sign by a margin area when the portions are positioned over a front side and a rear side of the sign in a deployed configuration. The margin area of the portions each include a plurality of two-part mechanical fasteners. As such, in use, with the first portion and the second portion draped over the sign, the two-part mechanical fasteners hold the cover onto the sign. The first portion may include one or more transparent pockets for displaying one of several alternate signs.

Sign cover

A sign cover includes a first portion fixed at a top side thereof with a top side of a second portion. Peripheral edges of the portions extend past a peripheral edge of a sign by a margin area when the portions are positioned over a front side and a rear side of the sign in a deployed configuration. The margin area of the portions each include a plurality of two-part mechanical fasteners. As such, in use, with the first portion and the second portion draped over the sign, the two-part mechanical fasteners hold the cover onto the sign. Warning structure and bracket

A warning structure includes a bracket and a warning member mounted on the bracket. The bracket includes a main body, rollers rotationally mounted to the main body, and a stopping assembly including a support member, a mounting member, and a resilient member. The support member is coupled to the main body. The mounting member is movably mounted to the support member. The rollers are mounted to the mounting member and the main body. The resilient member elastically resists the support member and the mounting member to bias the mounting member. When the support member is subjected to a downward force, the support member abuts against a ground to keep the bracket stationary.

Warning structure and bracket

A warning structure includes a bracket and a warning member mounted on the bracket. The bracket includes a main body, rollers rotationally mounted to the main body, and a stopping assembly including a support member, a mounting member, and a resilient member. The support member is coupled to the main body. The mounting member is movably mounted to the support member. The rollers are mounted to the mounting member and the main body. The resilient member elastically resists the support member and the mounting member to bias the mounting member. The white or yellow color information of the lane markings or of the black-colored roadway are detected or not detected on an individual basis by the sensors and deviations from a required path are recognized when different colors are received in certain combinations by the sensors. If no deviation is recognized in the colors, the mobile warning triangle is controlled to continue moving forward.
