A digitally printed heat transfer label and method of manufacture is disclosed. The heat transfer label and method of manufacture provides a more efficient process with less waste, as well as prevents halos. The method comprises adding adhesive powder to a digital image printed on a substrate to produce a high stretch, multi-color photographic quality label for the apparel industry.

A water-resistant and stretchable sticker comprises a printable layer and a neoprene layer, the neoprene layer may be fused or melted to a printable layer. A water-resistant and stretchable sticker may also include a nylon fabric layer, the nylon fabric layer being attached to the neoprene-based layer. The printable layer comprises a nylon-based layer. The printable layer may comprise a polyester, double-knit jersey fabric layer. In embodiments, the water-resistant and stretchable layer further comprises an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer being adhered to the nylon fabric layer. In embodiments, the water-resistant and stretchable layer further comprises a peel-away layer being adhered to the adhesive layer.

Methods and apparatus for organizing items according to various aspects of the present invention may comprise a hanger tag system to convey information relating to an item on a hanger. The hanger tag system may comprise, for example, a mount connected to the hanger and an information medium mounted on the mount, wherein the information medium provides information relating to the item. In various embodiments, the hanger tag system further comprises a connector configured to connect the mount to the hanger. In various embodiments, the information medium comprises a labeling surface.

A tag useful for being applied to a first item, such as a sock, as an indication that the item is intended to be used with a second tagged item, such as a matching sock in a pair of socks. The tag has a first end portion, a second end portion, a flexible intermediate portion extending between the first and second end portions, and a latching mechanism. The flexible intermediate portion is movable between first and second operative positions wherein the first and second end portions are spaced apart in the first operative position and are adjacent in the second operative position. The latching mechanism is coupled to the first and second portions and is adapted to maintain the first and second end portions in the second operative position. In one embodiment, the tag is clipped and latched onto a sock in the second operative position.

A laminate that possesses dye sublimation properties, particularly for use as tagless labels and embellishments for garments, apparel, fabric items and so forth such as sportswear fabrics, clothing and accessories is provided. The laminate includes a dye sublimation ink layer that overlies a substrate in which the dye sublimation ink interacts with the substrate's chemical make-up.

A tag, label or ticket simulating cork in appearance and method of manufacturing the tag for use in brand identification or embellishment on garments, apparel items and accessories. The invention utilizes Jacquard weaving and printing in order to create patterns which have the appearance of natural cork. The apparel tag, ticket or label can then be readily attached to the wearable article or apparel item by weaving, sewing, heat transfer, bonding or other suitable means.

A dissolvable tag includes a substrate and ink printed on the substrate that provides information. Both the ink and the substrate are water-soluble.

Process for making a fabric label (1) containing one piece of unique electronically-readable information; characterized by comprising the following steps: providing a fabric bolt made of a material mainly comprising synthetic fibers at least in the weft, generating at least one array of m×n cells, being n the number of rows and m the number of columns; generating at least one first sequence of variable information (3); associating the variable information (3) to the cells of the previous array in compliance with a predetermined logic; inserting, by the use of an image assembler, the graphic form that can be associated with each of said variable information (3) into a cell of a graphics array (5) with size m×n; printing said array (5) of images on a first medium (8) through a digital printing process; transferring said print, by heating, through a process named sublimation on said bolt (7) to generate a second medium (9) of fabric comprising said array (5); storing in a database the variable information (3) printed on each label (1), taking care of tuning the column m and the row n on which every information has been positioned; cutting the second medium (9) of fabric in m ribbons or labels rows (12) having size adapted to be wound on bobbins (13) that are wide as wide the single cell is.
