Disclosed is computing technology for managing information display of an electronic label which is connected to a management server via a network and displays electronic information. A moving device transmits images, which are obtained by photographing an electronic label and a product while being moved in a store, to a management server. The management server analyzes the images to extract information and detects changes in displayed products to register changed information. The management server performs inventory management using the extracted information. Further, the management server uses the extracted information to inform a store manager so that a location of a displayed product deviated from a place thereof is corrected.

The present invention is a message updating system for an electronic label. The system comprises a message updating device, wherein a controller thereof controls a power-supply transmission unit and a message-update transmission unit to respectively transmit a charging signal and a message-updating to the electronic label for charging the electronic label and updating label information of the electronic label. A detection device picks up the label information to generate label content information, transmits the label content information to the controller to make the controller compare the label content information with update comparison information, and generates an alert message if the label content information is different from the update comparison information. The present can charge the electronic label that is mounted on an article and update label information simultaneously while the article is being transported.

Apparatus firmly holds and protects an ESL (Electronic Shelf Label) assembly (ESL attached to a basket clip) installed onto a retail basket wire member so that the ESL assembly is prevented from being dislocated off the wire member by impact or disturbance. Apparatus confines the ESL assembly on a retail basket wire member with a rear lip engaged behind the rear portion of the basket clip, and a front face that engages with the front face of the ESL. A bottom tongue engages with the bottom edge of the ESL to immobilize apparatus on ESL assembly. Apparatus has two protruding shoulders or a friction coating to prevent horizontal dislocation of apparatus off ESL assembly. Another embodiment of apparatus in the form of a strip is adapted to engage with a plurality of ESL assemblies. Apparatus has holes so it can be additionally immobilized onto the wire member with fasteners.

A device for mounting sales labels is used to easily mount sales labels onto shelving systems of retail stores. The device comprises a label housing unit, one or more spring-loaded attachment legs and a lever. The device has a first disengaged position where the device may be easily mounted onto a channel on the shelving system and a second engaged position where the device is locked in place on the channel.

An electronic shelf label that comprises: a display unit that is arranged to display an image, and an interaction interface which is arranged separate from the display unit, wherein the interaction interface is realized as touch sensitive unit that provides a touch-triggered signal, and a processing unit that is connected to the touch sensitive unit and is arranged to process the touch-triggered signal.

A cable marker strip includes two rows of cable markers which are arranged behind one another in a cable direction. The cable marker strip includes a labeling track which has one labeling surface for each cable marker, wherein one fastening structure is provided for each cable marker on a fastening surface of the labeling track. The printer includes a print head which is arranged above pressure bars for the rows of cable markers.

A support arrangement within a retail environment. The arrangement includes a unit that includes a casing with a flat rear side, at least three recesses arranged in a pattern are formed in the rear side. The recesses are shaped such that a shoulder extends around at least a section of the recess in the rear side. The arrangement includes a support device including a flat support body to be secured to a wall and a shelf or a support structure. The support device includes a corresponding number of attachment protrusions that have shape and dimension corresponding to the recesses and each including a support surface to bear against the shoulder of the recesses to maintain the unit attached. The arrangement includes a releasable locking device arranged to maintain the support surfaces in contact with the shoulders in the recesses. The locking device has a male/female configuration.

A commodity sales data processing apparatus includes an image processor and a controller. The image processor captures an image including a symbol. The symbol includes discount information relating to a discount on a price of a commodity. The controller acquires commodity information that uniquely specifies the commodity. The controller extracts a region from the image captured by the camera. The region includes the symbol. The controller transmits, to a server, an image of the region extracted by the controller. The controller acquires, from the server, the discount information based on the image transmitted to the server. The controller registers the commodity information acquired by the controller and a discounted price of the commodity based on the discount information acquired by the controller in association with each other.
