An electronic-drum module for connection to one or more electronic-drum pads is provided. The module includes an electronic display; a first memory storing audio files for playback when the playback is triggered by a signal received from a pad; and one or more processors coupled to the display and the memory. The processors are configured receive an instruction to transfer a set of samples. The set of samples is associated with a priority-instruction and includes a first subset of samples and a second subset of samples. The processors are also configures to transfer the first subset of samples from a second memory to the first memory based on the priority-instruction before transferring the second subset of samples and to transfer the second subset of samples from the second memory to the first memory.

DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD

A display device includes a display panel, a driver, a detector, and an acquisition part. The driver drives the display panel based on a video signal. The detector obtains a first detection value by detecting reflective light from reflective media, which occurs when ambient light is irradiated to reflective media, while obtaining a second detection value by detecting reflective light from reflective media, which occurs when the display panel irradiates its display light to reflective media. The driver corrects a drive value for the display panel such that the second detection value approaches the first detection value or such that the chromaticity represented by the second detection value approaches the chromaticity represented by the first detection value, and therefore the acquisition part acquires information concerning the color temperature of ambient light based on the corrected drive value.

Systems and methods for calibrating display systems

A method of calibrating a display system, the method comprising: displaying a test pattern including a plurality of blobs; detecting one or more base blobs in the displayed test pattern; identifying, based on the detected base blobs, patches of the test pattern, wherein each patch comprises one of the base blobs and a subset of additional blobs detected in the displayed test pattern; determining a patch location for at least one patch within the test pattern based on the subset of the additional blobs in the patch to determine a blob location for at least one detected blob; determining a calibration parameter for the display system based on the blob location and a detected attribute of the at least one detected blob; and calibrating the projector using the calibration parameter.

METHOD OF RGBW COMPENATION BASED ON COLOR ABERRATIONS OF WHITE SUBPIXELS AND APPARATUS THEREOF

Disclosed is a method of RGBW compensation based on color aberrations of white subpixel and an apparatus thereof: when aberrations exist between a color coordinate point Ws of white subpixel and a standard white color coordinate point Wd under sRGB, analyzing color coordinates of every subpixel on the RGBW panel, and then dividing a triangle with vertices points Rs, Gs and Bs into three triangle regions based on Ws as the center point; based on ranges of the three triangle regions, a triangle region where Wd is located is confirmed; a first data is calibrated by performing compensating the white subpixel corresponding by the center point Ws via a predetermined normalized proportion through two subpixels corresponding to the other two points within the triangle region surrounding and locating Wd. Through the aforementioned manner, the present invention is capable of calibrating aberrations of white subpixels in order to normalize images of RGBW panels.

ELECTRONIC DISPLAY ILLUMINATION

According to an example, a system for electronic display illumination comprises a display, a sensor communicatively coupled to the display to detect a user and a user eye gaze, and a processing resource communicatively coupled to the sensor. In some examples, the processing resource may determine an active screen area and an inactive screen area of the display based on the user eye gaze; instruct a display controller to adjust a display value of the inactive screen area; and transmit active screen area data to a secondary display.

Method for charging and display device

A method for charging a pixel and an enlarged pixel of the display device and a display device are provided. The enlarged pixel has a storage capacitance greater than a storage capacitance of the pixel, and the method includes charging the enlarged pixel in a greater amount of time than charging the pixel. Therefore, according to the display device of the disclosure, an image sensing unit may be configured under the enlarged pixel so as to implement an image sense function under a screen.

IMAGE COMPENSATION FOR FOLDABLE DEVICES

Foldable displays may have portions folded into a folded configuration. Each folded portion may be observed by a user at a different viewing angle. As such, folding-artifacts may appear in the displayed image as a result of the different viewing angles. For example, a perceptible color difference and/or a perceptible brightness difference may appear between folded portions. Disclosed here are systems and methods to create compensated images that when displayed reduced the folding artifacts. The creation may include sensing a viewing angle for each portion and determining adjustments for pixels in each portion using a display model. The display model may be created by measuring color and brightness of pixels for various folded configurations, view-points and/or viewing angles.

Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. One embodiment of the multi-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
