Magnetic tool for instrument setup
A tool for use with a locking mechanism of an instrument setup of a stringed musical instrument comprises a body having a longitudinal axis, a transverse axis, a first surface extending along the longitudinal axis, and a second surface substantially parallel to the first surface of the body. The tool also includes a key disposed on the first surface and extending substantially along the transverse axis and a magnet disposed on the second surface of the body is configured for being received within a socketed head of the locking mechanism of the instrument setup system. The magnet is configured to be attached to a magnetic surface on the stringed instrument to hold the tool in place during use for one handed operation.
Instrument string length measurement and marking apparatus and method of using same
Methods and systems for stringing an instrument are disclosed, including coupling a string to a bridge; threading the string through a tuning member; providing a device comprising: a body having a proximal and distal end; and slots into the body located between the proximal end and the distal end; wherein distances between the proximal end and the slots correspond to predetermined string lengths beyond tuning members of the instrument; and wherein each of the slots comprises a marking edge; positioning the proximal end against the tuning member; inserting string threaded through the tuning member into one of the slots; pulling the string toward the bridge to mark the string; removing the device from the tuning member; pulling the string back through the tuning member towards the bridge until the mark is proximate the tuning member; and winding the string around the tuning member. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Musical instrument restringing device
A guitar restringing device includes one or more mandrils that rotate about one or more mandril guide axles. The one or more mandril guide axles are configured to constrain motion of the one or more mandrils keeping constant tension on a replacement guitar string during a string winding process.
Guitar speedle
A small tool, tube like in nature, comprised of plastic, metal, or composite material, that makes changing guitar strings easier by insertion into guitar then feeding string though.
Musical instrument string winder
A musical instrument peg winder that includes a tuning peg engaging head, a handle that extends parallel to and laterally offset from the head, and a coupling unit that interconnects the head to the handle.

Musical instrument restringing device
A restringing device for a stringed instrument may include a guide chuck with one or more guide holes. The restringing device may also include one or more mandrils traversing through the one or more guide holes in a z-direction to restring a string around a tuning peg of the stringed instrument.
MUSICAL INSTRUMENT STRING WINDER
A musical instrument peg winder that includes a tuning peg engaging head, a handle that extends parallel to and laterally offset from the head, and a coupling unit that interconnects the head to the handle.
AUTOMATIC TUNING FLOATING BRIDGE FOR ELECTRIC STRINGED INSTRUMENTS
A method, computer program product, and system for automatically tuning a stringed instrument. An initial height of a first string of an instrument having a plurality of strings and a floating bridge is determined. The height of the plurality of strings is determined using a bridge sensor. The floating bridge is locked. A frequency of the first string is analyzed. In response to determining the frequency of the first string does not match a predetermined frequency, a tuning peg servo motor to adjust a tuning peg, thereby adjusting a string tension of the first string. The one or more bridge servo motors adjusts a spring tension until the spring tension of the one or more springs equals the string tension of the first string. In response to determining the first string is tuned, the floating bridge is unlocked.
