INSTRUMENT WITH INTERIOR BODY WALLS HAVING AIRFLOW DISRUPTION APPARATUS
An instrument having an interior body or column wall that includes a plurality of curvilinear modifications that disrupts airflow through the mouthpiece in order to produce a pleasing sound when a player is playing an instrument. The modifications may comprise raised curvilinear ridges or curvilinear valleys set into the body wall. Additionally, the modifications may include specific patterns designed to elicit different, yet still pleasing sounds from the instrument. These air-flow disruption modifications are separate and distinct from any tone-changing actuators of the instruments as the instrument may be a woodwind (with tome holes) or a brass instrument (with valves or sliders).
IMPROVED HARMONICA
A harmonica including at least a comb including a plurality of chambers, a first plate including a plurality of blow reeds, a second plate including a plurality of draw reeds, the harmonica wherein each chamber of the plurality of chambers includes at least one material projection, each material projection being configured to reduce the oscillatory space of a draw reed, and in that it includes at least one additional plate arranged above the first plate and including a plurality of additional material projections, each additional material projection of the plurality of additional material projections being configured to reduce the oscillatory space of a blow reed.

HARMONICA REED PLATE AND HARMONICA
The present invention discloses a harmonica reed plate and a harmonica, and belongs to the field of musical instruments. The harmonica reed plate has different thicknesses by controlling reed slots. Specifically, a groove with fixed depth is milled on the opposite surface of the target reed slot for fixing the reeds so that the reeds obtain an optimal vibration thickness different from the thickness of the original material after fixation to customize an equivalent reed plate thickness for each reed slot (reed) without the need to select a compromised thickness to take into account all the reed slots like the traditional harmonica reed plate. The harmonica prepared by the above harmonica reed plate can realize the optimal vibration mode of bass and treble at the same time on one reed plate, and can control the deviation of timbre, volume and pitch, which is more conducive to playing.

Instrument mouthpiece with air flow disruption apparatus
An instrument mouthpiece having an interior wall that includes a plurality of modifications that disrupts airflow through the mouthpiece in order to produce a pleasing sound when a player is playing an instrument. The modifications may comprise raised ridges disposed on the baffle of the or valleys carved into the baffle. Additionally, the modifications may include specific patterns designed to elicit different, yet still pleasing sounds from the instrument. These patterns may include a first pattern having a first central linear modification flanked by a set of modifications having parabolic elongated modifications wherein each modification has a parabolic focus increasingly more distant from each respective modification in a direction away from the central modification and also flanked by a set of modifications having parabolic elongated modifications fashioned in the opposite direction. Another pattern may include modifications that are linear but spaced apart from each other in an increasingly distant pattern.

KNIFE SHARPENING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and method for its use employ a magnet assembly to securely hold a knife by its blade. Along with a carriage and angle adjustment assembly that set and control the sharpening angle of the knife relative to a sharpening surface, the apparatus provides for sharpening of knives such as double hollow ground reed scraping knives, and bevel reed scraping knives.
Woodwind mouthpiece
The present invention relates to a novel woodwind mouthpiece, which comprises: a main body having an elongated streamlined shape; a hollow chamber and a bore inside the main body; a reed table on one side of the main body and partially suspended from the main body; a beak on an opposite side to the reed table on the main body; a reed rail surrounding the beak and connecting to two lateral sides of the reed table to form an opening window between a reed and the hollow chamber inside the main body; and a tip opening disposed between the reed rail at a tip of the beak and an virtual surface extending from a surface of the reed table, wherein the woodwind mouthpiece is made of a plastic, a metal, an alloy, a composite, wood or a combination thereof.
