INSULATOR FOR HIGH-VOLTAGE APPLICATIONS
An insulator for high-voltage applications has a rotationally symmetrical hollow tube made from fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin; a silicone shielding attached to a periphery of the hollow tube; a base flange at a lower end of the hollow tube; a retainer, which is configured to retain an electrical operator, at an upper end of the hollow tube; and a plug, which is arranged inside the hollow tube and closes the front side of the upper end of the hollow tube and seals the hollow tube from the outside. The retainer has a rotationally symmetrical connection region. The insulator further has at the upper end of the hollow tube, a radially circumferential joining region which has no silicone shielding. The retainer is connectable to the insulator in such a way that the connection region of the retainer surrounds the joining region of the insulator in a form-fitting fashion.
Device and process for hot sticks for high-temperature applications
The device and process disclosed relates to hot sticks suitable for working on high voltage conductors in high temperatures. The enhanced hot sticks include a thermal insulating piece between the pole and the end tool. The disclosed hot stick retains electrical and mechanical properties at least as good as those of regular hot sticks and can be used on high temperature lines in the same way as regular hot sticks are presently used to perform live work on normal lines.
STRUT INSULATORS
A strut insulator for an overhead rail contact system includes a first end fitting, the first end fitting defining an inner side pocket, and a second end fitting spaced from the first end fitting, the second end fitting defining an inner side pocket. The strut insulator further includes a rod extending between the first end fitting and the second end fitting and extending into the inner side pockets of the first and second end fittings, the rod defining a length. The strut insulator further includes a shell surrounding a portion of rod, the shell extending along a portion of the length of the rod, the shell formed from a fluoropolymer.
INSULATION PIPE AND INSULATION SLEEVE WITH SUCH INSULATION PIPE
Disclosed are an insulated pipe and an insulated bushing. The insulated bushing (1000) includes: an insulator (110) including an intermediate shed member (112), and a lower flange (114) arranged on a lower end of the shed member; a head member (120) connected to an upper end of the insulator, wherein the head member includes an oil conservator (121) connected to the upper end of the insulator and a connecting terminal (122) connected to the oil conservator; and an insulated pipe (100) connected to the lower flange, wherein the insulated pipe includes a upper transformer pipe (101) and a lower oil-immersed pipe (102), and the transformer pipe includes an inner pipe (103), and a conductive layer arranged outside the inner pipe and configured to be grounded. The insulated pipe and the insulated bushing solve the problems of connection and sealing, and save material cost greatly.
High-voltage bushing and high-voltage installation with the bushing
A high-voltage bushing has an internal conductor and an insulating body which surrounds the internal conductor along its longitudinal direction. The internal conductor is routed out of the insulating body at a head end of the high-voltage bushing. A fastening flange is arranged on the insulating body at an end opposite the head end. An outer housing encloses the internal conductor and the insulating body from the fastening flange up to and including the head end in a moisture-tight manner. A high-voltage installation has a high-voltage conductor which is routed through a housing wall of the high-voltage installation by way of the novel high-voltage bushing.
Insulation Assembly
An insulation assembly comprises an insulation pipe, an insulation umbrella group, and an insulation base. The insulation pipe has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The insulation umbrella group is formed on an outer wall of the insulation pipe. The insulation base is made of an insulating material and connected to the first end of the insulation pipe.
