Coil component
A coil component includes a winding core that includes a winding core portion, a first flange portion, and a second flange portion. The coil component further includes a plate core that has a main surface facing the winding core portion, the first flange portion, and the second flange portion, that extends between the first flange portion and the second flange portion, and that is secured to the winding core by using adhesive. Each of the first flange portion and the second flange portion has an upper surface that faces the main surface of the plate core. Recessed portions are formed on the corresponding upper surfaces. Protrusions may be formed in corresponding regions in which the recessed portions are formed.
Coil component
A coil component includes a winding core that includes a winding core portion, a first flange portion, and a second flange portion. The coil component further includes a plate core that has a main surface facing the winding core portion, the first flange portion, and the second flange portion, that extends between the first flange portion and the second flange portion, and that is secured to the winding core by using adhesive. Each of the first flange portion and the second flange portion has an upper surface that faces the main surface of the plate core. Recessed portions are formed on the corresponding upper surfaces. A casting coil for a motor assembly, which is formed in a multi-layer structure, includes: a first coil formed to extend in one direction; a second coil bent to extend from an end of the first coil; a third coil bent to extend from an end of the second coil in a direction parallel to the first coil; and a fourth coil bent to extend from an end of the third coil in a direction parallel to the second coil. The first coil, the second coil, the third coil, and the fourth coil form one layer so that a hollow multi-layer structure is formed. A larger magnetic field can be formed by securing a slot filling factor of 50% or more of a stator in the same motor package.
CASTING COIL FOR A MOTOR ASSEMBLY, A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND A MOTOR ASSEMBLY
A casting coil for a motor assembly, which is formed in a multi-layer structure, includes: a first coil formed to extend in one direction; a second coil bent to extend from an end of the first coil; a third coil bent to extend from an end of the second coil in a direction parallel to the first coil; and a fourth coil bent to extend from an end of the third coil in a direction parallel to the second coil. The first coil, the second coil, the third coil, and the fourth coil form one layer so that a hollow multi-layer structure is formed. A larger magnetic field can be formed by securing a slot filling factor of 50% or more of a stator in the same motor package.
Dual slotted bobbin magnetic component with two-legged core
A magnetic component for an electronic circuit includes first and second bobbins having respective core-receiving passageways. Each bobbin includes multiple slots with a winding insert in each slot. The winding inserts function as windings as well as guides for winding a coil of wire around the respective bobbins. The first and second bobbins are positioned on respective first and second legs of a magnetic core. The coils of wire are wound on the two bobbins in opposite directions such that the magnetic fluxes provided by the coils are in phase. The winding inserts have connection prongs that can be positioned in opposite direction such that the winding inserts of the first bobbin are connectable to a first printed circuit board and the winding inserts of the second bobbin are connectable to a second printed circuit board.

A coil component includes: a coil embedded in a substrate body and having a winding part constituted by a wound conductor; wherein the substrate body has: a first region sandwiched between one end surface of the substrate body and a plane parallel with the one end surface and running through a portion of a first external electrode farthest away from the one end surface; a second region sandwiched between another end of the substrate body and a plane parallel with the another end surface and running through a portion of a second external electrode farthest away from the another end surface; and a third region between the first region and the second region; and the winding part is provided in the third region, and also in the first region where it is wound by one turn or more.
