Long-Life Capacitors
A composite electrode foil roll for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor, including: bands of electrode foils; strips of an isolating material positioned along a width of the composite electrode foil roll at a plurality of locations. The plurality of locations are at equal distances and correspond to a length of an inner cavity of a case of the electrolytic capacitor. The bands of electrode foils and strips of an isolating material are alternating. A method of manufacturing the composite electrode foil roll including alternating bands of electrode foils and strips of an isolating material. The strips are positioned along a width of the composite electrode foil roll at repeated locations. The repeated locations are at equal distances corresponding to a length of an inner cavity of a case of the electrolytic capacitor.

ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR MODULE
An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and a liquid component. The capacitor element includes an anode body that includes a dielectric layer on a surface of the anode body and a conductive polymer that covers a part of the dielectric layer. The liquid component includes a sugar alcohol component and a polyalkylene glycol component. The sugar alcohol component contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a sugar alcohol having four or more hydroxy groups and a derivative of the sugar alcohol.
ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element. The capacitor element includes a separator, an anode body and a cathode body each having a foil shape and facing each other with the separator disposed between the anode body and the cathode body, and an electrolyte layer being in contact with the anode body, the cathode body, and the separator. The electrolyte layer contains a first conductive polymer and a first compound having a melting point of 50° C. or higher. The first compound is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a sugar and a polyhydric alcohol. The first compound is unevenly distributed in the electrolyte layer.
ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITIVE DEVICE
An apparatus is disclosed which includes an electrolytic capacitive element with multiple capacitor sections.
WINDING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF POWER STORAGE DEVICES
A winding apparatus for the production of power storage devices comprising: a frame, a first actuator device supported by the frame and comprising a rotor and a first drive element, a support which is driven in rotation by the first actuator device through the first drive element, a second actuator device comprising a second drive element and a non-circular core on which to wind a material; said core being arranged on the support in a rotary manner and being driven in rotation by the second actuator device through the second drive element. The second drive element passes at least partially through the rotor.
CAPACITOR
A capacitor 1 includes a capacitor element 3 holding solution between an anode foil 5 and a cathode foil 7 that are wound up with a separator 6 in between, a body case 2 for housing the capacitor element 3, and a sealing member 4 for sealing the body case 2. A part of the separator 6 makes contact, at a plurality of points or over an area, with the face of the sealing member 4 facing the capacitor element 3 so as to rest on that face. The solution contains, dissolved in a lipophilic solvent, deterioration preventing agent that solidifies by oxidation. The solution is supplied through the separator 6 to the sealing member 4 and permeates the sealing member 4, so that a coating 17 resulting from the agent solidifying coats the outer face of the sealing member 4, leaving the solution present in the sealing member 4.
