20230154698 · 2023-05-18 · ·

Provided is a multi-position electrical switch. The multi-position switch includes an enclosure and a stem structured and arranged to move along a vertical axis within the enclosure. The stem provides a plurality of distinct horizontal protrusions as physical deactivators at different elevations along the vertical axis. A plurality of distinct electrical contacts are provided by a paired stationary element and a movable element for flexibly making and breaking electrical contact with the stationary element, the movable element biased for contact with the stationary element. Each distinct electrical contact is associated with at least one distinct horizontal protrusion. A spring disposing the stem in an initial position in which the plurality of distinct horizontal protrusions dispose all of the movable elements in broken contact. Depression of the stem along the vertical axis transitions the distinct horizontal protrusions away from the movable elements permitting contact with their paired stationary elements.

A trigger switch may include a first urging member urging a trigger, a shaft including a first end attached to the trigger, a first movable member connected to a second end of the shaft, a second movable member , a second urging member located between the first movable member and the second movable member, and a contact portion to be in contact with the second movable member moved in a depressing direction. In response to a depressing operation on the trigger, the first movable member, the second movable member, and the second urging member move in the depressing direction until the second movable member comes in contact with the contact portion. The first urging member urges the trigger. In response to an additional depressing operation on the trigger with the second movable member in contact with the contact portion, the first movable member moves in the depressing direction, and the second urging member urges the first movable member.

ELECTRICAL SWITCH

An electrical switch, including an insulation base, an insulative-and-movable component, at least two output ports, and at least two transmission ports, is provided. The insulative-and-movable component is disposed on the insulation base and is adapted to operate between at least two switch positions relative to the insulation base. The two output ports are disposed on the insulation base. The two transmission ports are disposed on the insulative-and-movable component. When the insulative-and-movable component is located at one of the two switch positions, one of the two output ports is aligned with one of the two transmission ports and other one of the two output ports is misaligned with other one of the two transmission ports.

SWITCH DEVICE

A switch device includes: a printed circuit board provided with a connector; a rubber sheet; an operating knob; an operating mechanism; an operating mechanism plate; and a housing having a side surface provided with an insertion hole and a bottom surface provided with a discharge hole. The rubber sheet has a connector portion discharge path configured to guide the liquid entering the housing through the insertion hole to the discharge hole. The connector portion discharge path has one end connected to a part of the rubber sheet covering the connector, extends to be inclined from the one end toward the discharge hole provided on the bottom surface, and has the other end formed in a vicinity of the bottom surface and separated from the rubber sheet covering the connector. A gap exists between a lower end portion of the rubber sheet covering the connector and the other end.

Input operation device

To provide an input operation device capable of detecting, using a simple configuration, a first operation of touching an operation surface with an operation body and a second operation of pressing the operation surface with the operation body. An input operation device 11 includes a detection value changing part 31, which changes a detection value of a capacitive sensor 12, and a supporting part 41, which supports a touch sensor part 21 in a state in which the detection value changing part 31 and the touch sensor part 21 are separated from each other. The detection value changing part 31 is arranged on a back surface 24 side opposite to the operation surface 22 of the touch sensor part 21, and changes the detection value depending on contact with the detection part 23. The supporting part 41 includes an elastically shape-changeable part 42, which elastically changes shape so as to bring the detection part 23 into contact with the detection value changing part 31 in response to pressing of the operation surface 22. The capacitive sensor 12 of the input operation device 11 generates a first detection value indicating a first operation of touching the operation surface 22 and a second detection value indicating a second operation of pressing the operation surface 22 toward the detection value changing part 31.

Multiple-position momentary electrical push switch with configurable activation zones
11232919 · 2022-01-25 ·

A momentary electrical push switch that can be configured for 2 or more activation positions. The switch has a top surface, or “key” top, which is pressed down upon in different areas to actuate the switch's different activation positions. The key top can be of various shapes, such as quadrangles, circle, hexagon, etc., or irregular shapes, to suit a particular application. The key top can be divided into multiple segments, or activation zones, each corresponding to a different activation position of the switch. The key allows free-form movement when pressing down upon it, without requiring the user to use specific or narrowly-defined motions to actuate the various activation positions.
